well clearly you didn't read what I said about Gary's response to someone asking if they would be releasing a Church. My point is that if these other items are released, then what's the issue with a Church?

Because dedicating a whole house to a particular religion (and subsequently there would most likely have to be a whole theme released with it), is a lot more full blown than a few items. BVG didn't even design the items, Zynga did.

I hear ya...that answers it more clearly. Though I don't think that is what was behind Gary's answer regarding the Church.

Also, I'm not Canadian, or from the UK and they had a whole themes released for those. So why not a Christian theme?

I wouldn't have a problem seeing religious items in game if enough players want them...I always have the choice to not buy.
Religion has no part in my life but neither do Vikings ya know?

Since you asked.
I guess my point is this.

The celtic cross isn't really a 'religious' item.

So it kinda makes the title of your post null and void and perhaps why people
seem somewhat against it.

I know we aren't supposed to discuss religion here
but I'll say I'm a Christian and I love me some Jesus
but I feel like we have sufficient items in the game
to make churches and express our beliefs.

I think if they release a Christian Theme then they'd have
to release a Muslim theme then a Hindi, then Wiccan
then maybe Satanic then Buddhist.. then with the houses
they'd have to release a whole slew of new releases to fill
the houses...

then the religious battles would start in the game...

"My religion is better than yours" sorta thing.

I would imagine that if we want fun items, halloween,
Christmas, summer, walking dead, doctor who.....

that we'd be better off..
not asking for a whole world of religion....

To honor one, they'd have to honor them all.

But to your original theory that the celtic cross is a religious item... no.. it's not really.

That's exactly why I don't think they should release religious items. If they do they need to be fair and if they were fair it'd be a huge mess here on the forums & in game.

Either a company is fine with releasing religious items or they aren't. Take a stand...and stick to it.

Problem is too many religions to make them all happy..
