Ignore them, they don't know any better than to stoop to uncreative insults. I once heard that arguing with an idiot is like playing chess with a pigeon. I forgot why though. Anyone else heard that saying that can fill me in? :lol:

Everything is relative and I think people tend to victimize themselves too quickly without realizing the power they possess.

This is an online game. If people are "hurting" you, you can just walk away and no one can chase you. Logging off or finding another server is a godsend. Getting upset and showing bullies that they can get to you...only empowers them more.

I never understood the mindset of a bully, but for some reason it seems they need to have that power over another human being. If you walk away, you take away that power. No one should be subjected to that sort of abuse, especially if you have the ability to make it go away yourself.

I see this happening too. Maybe there should be more in game mods. The problem is there is nothing being done about the bullies. They are not being removed from the game and forum like Gregs says, so basically it is BVG that is "allowing them to continue to bully."

Don't respond or show any attention that they are trying to get from you and they will move away! Happened to me a few times when I was younger, some people tried picking on me for no reason, I ignored and they stopped, show that you aren't affected by what they say and they wont bother with you anymore!

Maybe they should be banned as a last resort. Like....................... 1) Be banned from AH. 2) Be banned from AH and Events. 3) Be banned permanently.

I know the majority of the group is saying to ignore and move on, but for some people that is really hard to do. For example, I used to be really sensitive when people would attack me in game. I think it stems from being bullied as a kid and wanting to come here and play to escape reality only to be bullied some more is something that was hard for me to get over. Sometimes, i would think about nothing the entire day but what was said to me in game. I would feel unaccepted in all worlds. Luckily my skin has toughened over the last few years. I Dont let Little things get to me and people who attack me are just trolls imo now.
