Wouldn't surprise me...judging by your icon you're a newbie. Ah I can remember when there was hardly any themes and Yoworld was called Yoville. Bet you didn't know that did you? I was on this game before there was cars and animals you can ride.

Well I'm sorry if I've actually played the game. The last time I checked Yoworld has and always will be centered around the in game furnishings.

I thought BVG already promised that there would be no more re-releases anyway?
From what I read, they did not promise that, they only stated that they could not see themselves doing it. I think with the right arguement they would see that it would stabilize the yo economy and allow the collectibles theme to be what it says it is. They could eventually add furniture and clothes and so on to that theme just like zynga did in the past. But leave everything else open so people can decorate.

If this is the case, then why have a small collectible theme, pretty much everything that was once in the game would become a collectible. I don't agree with that at all. I am an old player, and I would love to see the furniture themes put back in the store so I can decorate. Some people play the game to just have as much money as possible, and some people play the game because they want to decorate and meet people. I have spent millions on items that I just had to have, but if I saw them in store tomorrow, I wouldn't be mad at all, because it is part of the game. I would just be happy to be able to decorate how I want. It seems as if people are trying to build monopolies in this game instead of playing the game for what it was originally intended to be.
I agree with this 100%.

So it's unfair I didn't get a Babe Ruth back when it was released so i should go complain to the baseball card factory that it's so not fair I couldn't have one so they should make it again.
AmBeR (3071891) wrote:Yea, but Zynga just rereleased them for a short period of time, I mean leave the themes there permanently.

The difference here is this is a game, not real life. So many people are trying to turn a game of fantasy to real life situations. A lot of this game is centered around real life situations but it is also a game of fantasy.

It's because this game/economy has absolutely nothing to do with supply and demand.
It has to do with popularity and getting a person, or a few, to artificially inflate the value of whatever they want. It is so very easy to manipulate pricing in this game and sadly not a lot of people realize how easy it is to do.
Everyone I know, literally, owns Blue Retro Specs and they're a 9m coin item. Almost everyone I know, again literally, owns Pink Retros Specs and they're 18m. How is it possible for an item to command that amount of coin when so many people have them?
Artificial price manipulation. Now of course in the case of retros no one cares. Why should they? They already have them.
