Exactly...And as some have already stated and I have stated that Bvg said no re-releases. So all in all nothing matters but their word.

This is another statement that Gary said.

Yes, I remember Gary's that statement. It was about the discussion on in store items' prices. Actually, Greg's statement about paying customers' priority to him, was also about the complaints of in store items' prices.

Is it really re-releasing when it's still in the store? I say either open them back up or get rid of them all together, it sucks having to go through all that stuff lol

Agreed. That's another thing. They are still there, some of them partly-there. Nobody in this thread is asking for long gone themes, but the ones to be unlocked that we still see in store.

Yes but he's stating that not everyone needs to be able to have everything. He knows that.

And he also states no re-releases. And people still don't get it. As others stated it wouldn't look good on them if they went back on their word.

Now you guys are grasping at straws.....most of the ghost themes were put on a close out at discounted prices almost a year ago now. Any way you look at it, if they reopen them it is rereleasing them. They need to be cleaned out and gotten rid of to make it easier for us to find the new themes we are going to get.

Just because you can't afford it doesn't mean it's not available for you to buy. When a theme is closed not everything is available and because if you don't play to decorate you wouldn't necessarily buy the little things. I know I know.... some of you will say that's just what you get when the theme closes out. We'll if it wasn't closed then people wouldn't try to turn everything into a rare or collectible that is not a collectible. What is the point of collectibles now anyway if now all closed out themes are being turned to them? And those of you who keep stating "Bvg already made a statement regarding this" there has been an argument to this also. Greg may have made the statement prematurely and without a defense for the other side. Again for the twentieth time and I'm sure some are tired of me saying this over and over... Greg may have made the statement to appease the complainers at the time. No one at the time was really stepping up who are pro the non holiday themes being released. Recently there has been an influx of people pro permanent re release. For those who just keep making that statement please read this entire thread.

 So because we can see them, it's okay to go ahead and open em back up?

I can see over 300 collectibles in the furniture store. And around 80 in the clothing store.

Because Greg knows how the game is played. He knows the rarity of items. And he said no re-releases. That's all that matters. Greg also knows there's people that are for both sides. And he chose not to ever put anything back in game. It's as simple as that.

Oh come on myrt. No one here is talking about re releasing collectibles. That was the biggest thing that the pro rerelease of non holiday themes are saying. No rerelease of collectibles. That has been made clear that would seriously destroy this game.

And it's also been made clear that they weren't going to re-release things that had officially been released by Zynga in the past. What Myrt is saying is the same thing you're saying... because the things are shaded out in the store they should just be reopened.

AmBeR (3071891) wrote:People who are against it are either intentional or unintentionally keeping the game the way Zynga had it during the later years... FAILING. The game need to make a drastic change. BVG has done an awesome job making huge changes that is in turn keeping the faith of the costumers. They are making it a safer game. However, in order get the game moving even further in the right direction, Greg may need to look back at what made the game so successful during its peak time. I am sure he has and is working on it, because he has already made this game 100's of times better that what it was. I am seriously thinking about putting together all of these threads, and asking him to keep and open mind while reading them. Then make a final decision now that there is actually a defense for why the themes should be reopened. If he decides to stay with his previous statement, then at lease remove the pictures from the store, so people don't have to look at them anymore.
I agree with you 100% ~
I would buy more of old things bc I love it all, doesn't matter to me if they're released and if you think about it, older players such as myself only had four or five themes to catch up on, but newer players, that's crazy. IDK how in the world they're going to catch up not only bc of the economy, but there's tons they don't have. I don't see issue with reopening themes until BVG finally gets the staff they desire and it'll help them pay the bills too xD I bought themes when they were re-released, .... I decorate with a lot of mixed themes and it's so much fun, just like I do with clothes, mix em up and they come out so nice xD

And now it's made clear that no re-releases. Only collectibles were safe with zynga. Now it's different. Now anything that has left store is safe.
