While I actually agree on that, I mean this is a huge community only 300 people voting, might not show a healthy result.

On the other hand, I was thinking, when researchers do some social survays, they usually ask 100 people and consider the results as meaningful. When I think about that, may be this actually shows the general idea? ... not sure though.

Here is the progression of statements made by BVG concerning rereleases, if I missed any it would be great if someone could post it.
Yes but again, as Amber stated thousand times, these statements were made before they could tell there were also so many people who actually want re-releases. It is normal that they must have thought all yoworld players like it this way since nobody stated an opposite opinion before. So they said, ""We know item rarity and value is very important to the players, and we respect that.""

Well, then how about those more than half of the players who don't care about item rarity and just want to play? Looks like they never thought about it.

Now what we are trying to do is, actually, kindly asking them to re-evaluate this issue. There is nothing wrong with asking / expressing what we would like.

Some people have always stated they wanted rereleases, that is nothing new. BVG made those statements knowing that rereleases have been requested in the past and probably would continue to be requested. Why you would think BVG thought all yoworld players didn't like rereleases I have no idea and why you think no one has ever been pro rerelease and expressed it I also have no idea. In the old forums there were many who were pro rerelease and expressed it.

Even in my own household we are split on this matter, some against rerelease and some for it. But none of us are too worried either way because we will be fine no matter what happens.

But again if you think that this is the first thread to ever be pro rerelease or have pro rerelease statements in it I have to think that you haven't been paying much attention the last year and a half. I think that BVG is aware that many are pro rerelease and has always been aware of that even when they made those statements, because it has been obvious for a long time. There were so many debate threads in the old forum debating this issue back and forth that they had plenty opportunity to see the debate.

And you supposedly are not asking for all out rerelease but only of the "ghost themes". Well would it be fair if only those were rereleased and not other themes that others want rereleased? I don't think so.

I guess this discussion can never end untill BVG decides to do something about it. Yet this is a very sensitive issue with both ends have their own points that they are right.

BVG has decided to do something about it, you are asking them to reexamine their decision. Mostly because you think they were uninformed when they made that decision which I don't agree with you that they were uninformed. The discussion will never end as long as people think they can turn a "No" into a "Yes".

This is not a random scientific poll. Not only that but 3 of the answers amount to the same thing and are the first 3 choices, there is only a "Definite NO" not an even "Leaning mostly NO" so I would say the poll answers lean towards the OP (who wants rereleases). A fairer poll would have had the following choices: "definite Yes" "leaning mostly Yes" "definite No" "leaning mostly No".

And again I bet most people would vote for BVG to give everyone 100 yc a week. Just because the majority vote for it, that doesn't make it a good idea.

Considering the above I decided to go through all the posts so far in this thread and see where the people who posted stand. Again if they stated anything like who cares, or Idc go ahead I put them in the yes column.

10 posters I could not determine their vote.
37 posters said yes or idc. (24 with current badges and 13 without current badges)

As the whole thing is about a possible change in present circumstances, My purpose was to see:

-how many people really want it, (yes)
-how many people will like it even if they dont necessarily want it, (why not)
-how many people don't care (ok with either)
-how many people are firmly against it. (No)

At the moment, looking at the votes, those who are not against it are more than those who are against it.

Counting forum posts is not necessary since not everyone who voted left a comment and not everyone who commented voted.

I also consider that some people are shy, some dont like to get in hot discussions, some dont have time for it and some are just too lazy to read and reply.

Plus considering no'ers are more confident to comment in this thread compared to yes'ers since they have BVG's statements to lean on and the already present positive situation on their side.

So many yes' ers just vote and run. That's why post results are different from vote results.

Still doesn't account for this not being a scientific random poll. But I do understand your choices of choices, can you see that it was slanted? I mean could have said "Umm, well why?" and that would have inferred a no right? But that choice wasn't there. And if you know anything about scientific polls the longer they have to go down to read their choice, the less likely they are to go down that far.

Also those who are for it are less than those who don't care or are against it ... does that have any meaning? And counting forum votes of those who posted is as unmeaningful as this poll. And some No'ers don't even vote ...

Really of all the recent posts I made for this to be the only one you comment on is disappointing. That you don't even comment on that you think that BVG and Greg were just ignorant of what people thought about rereleases because they only knew people didn't want them and had no idea that there was people that wanted them is disappointing. This debate has gone on for at least a year and a half ... people have expressed they wanted rereleases for at least a year and a half ... this isn't the first ever time people have expressed they wanted rereleases.

That's like saying the only reason for rerelease is because I don't want to pay the fair market value of an item that has been discontinued, I want it for store price ... although I didn't buy it or enough of it when it was in store.

No one "worked" here, we all wasted time, because we had nothing better to do or because we had to escape our Real Lives, or because we had to Cope with difficult issues in our Real lives... and Playing this game was way less expensive, than paying for therapy....... we all PLAYED we did not work, we PLAYED & we still be able to PLAY even if all this Virtual stuff goes back in to the VIRTUAL STORES.

I for one do not want to feel like I HAVE TO "WORK"...I do that for 8 hours a day everyday in real life... I COME TO THIS GAME TO PLAY & HAVE FUN.
This is not a JOB... this is a GAME.

Does anyone outside our own circle of Game Friends really cares how many VIRTUAL COINS we have or how many VIRTUAL COLLECTABLES anyone has... NO...
And if we are to be honest with ourselves....most of us don't even tell our REAL LIFE FRIENDS we play this game.
So PLEASE STOP already with this 1 LAME EXCUSE, why they should not re-release old items.
LET"S JUST PLAY
That's like saying the only reason for rerelease is because I don't want to pay the fair market value of an item that has been discontinued, I want it for store price ... although I didn't buy it or enough of it when it was in store.
