I am not looking forward to them putting our profiles online.. it was awful how complete strangers thought it was ok to ask for your items and coins.. I spent alot on the game using money I earned ..

If we give too much, there is no motivation for them to spend or try to earn it.

I've given away so many things in this game..heck I emptied 160 houses and gave that away.. it was really surprising though how many people asked for more..

The gimme peeps take the joy out of giving.

So true. There was this player that was in a group I USE to be in that would beg my friends and I for YC items. My one friend checked the FB Neighbor's List and saw that this girl had more than enough YC to buy her OWN item multiple times over, so my friend asked her, "why don't you buy it for yourself? You have more than enough YC to get it." Well this girl went all bioch on my friends and I. She said, "first of all I'm saving to buy me a house, so I don't want to use my YC. And what kind of person are you being nosey checking people's accounts?" (I was like really, wt*?) Then she ran back to the group saying how she was so sad because people were being mean to her and blah blah blah, and of course they believed her lies, and of course I deleted her. So when I hear about it's "new players" wanting this or that, I do NOT believe it. It's the Older players that do this begging crap and I will NOT be giving my stuff to any of them. I hope that BVG brings the profiles back AND show how much YC and coins our neighbors have....just because it helps with seeing who the REAL BEGGARS and LIARS are. btw, she is still in the game and here on the forums....

In todays Yo economy 10 bucks gets you 55 yocash @ 20:1 = 1,100,000 yocoins

I did the same thing

everything was out of reach when I started on MySpace in Dec of 08 - I just never bothered with what I didnt have, was not going to pay jacked up prices on things (YES prices have always been out of reach) But with Yo Cash I could make coin and that gave me some real freedom. To bad we dont currently have a free Yo Cash section, I did book offers, Movie - even did the satellite dish offer. -- that is the single best piece of advice I think we can give a new players -- we are free to play but if you want more then the basics that you should budget to share a small amount of money. (I never looked back - I always looked forward to the next release, was great fun :) - didnt miss what I couldnt afford to have. regular releases are important the the health of the game and to making new players part of the community)

Why are you renaming peoples topics? This conversation is NOT 'obsolete', it is a very VALID conversation. So why are you trying to derail this person's topic?
