My Grandmother had 17 kids to feed and care for back when things were not easy. Like hauling water from the spring. There was always one who was hungry and hanging on her apron (or her boob? LOL). Anyway she almost always had potatoes cooked, they were filling and once cooked fast to reheat into other dishes. The kids who were whiny she would always tell to take a 'tater and wait until they could have dinner.

It's how people learned patience in the old days.

I say take a 'tater and wait for what BVG has in store for us.

Lol!

Wow, 17 kids...

I'll take a tater, though. I like taters... :)

This was cute lol but so true :) I myself am on edge wanting some new furniture releases but I can wait. And if I can't there's plenty of stuff I can buy but at the moment I just want to see the new they're going to put out.

No one ever said they don't want to wait for new items to be released. I'm not sure why people keep stating that "just wait until new items are released." Although I can't wait, as a decorator I would love to use the old items, and use new items as well. There are hardly any decorators in this game that just use one theme to create master pieces. I for one don't always get a great idea until way later down the line. If you visit my homes (well the ones I actually have finished) you will notice I use different themes.

How would it be a wreck? Half the people that play say no and half say yes, so those who say no are the ones who think it would be a wreck.

Also, the game hit its peak before Zynga started removing themes. That means the more options people have the better the chance of it being successful to meet the needs of all players. The players that want to make money or want rares would make money off of collectibles.

LOL. Honestly looking back at the ridiculous amount of closeouts that zynga inflicted on this game in a shameless cash grab, I dont blame people for feeling that way. It was asinine. And all it did was screw the players over in the end.

I'm rich and it wouldn't make me mad. Plus we are talking about furniture and not clothing, hair, or accessories to your avi.

EXACTLY! Zynga closed them out just to try and make a bunch on money fast, but I think it hurt them in the long run. They lost a very large percentage of their players that way.

I'm not being mean! Thats the problem with some of these heated threads, if someone responds to someone who thinks differently they automatically assume the person is being mean. It is just a difference in opinion. I'm a Sagittarius. I don't sugar coat anything I say.

Not anymore. But appeasing "rich" players is about the worst I can think of. They should do what is best for them. End of story.

The longer this discussion goes on, and the longer the game goes without decent new decorating items (and the more it looks like its going to be a long while before they get any).. the more I can think of reasons why they maybe should do it.

I will say this... BVG did state that hacking was a problem which constituted for almost all in game money. I'm not stating everyone with any money was a hacker, but in some way or another through, the buying and selling at the auction house, sales, or other ways, everything became price jacked. They said they are continuously working on a way to fix the problem of price jacking. Some people don't want rereleases because they think they would make less money, because items would drop in price, and things would go back to the way they were prior to zynga doing fast yocash sells. I understand your concern. I think BVG is doing a great job in realizing that the pay to cost ratio was way off, and we needed a way to make more money off of the game to make it sustainable. They continue to work on this. But being against it because you think that it might make your items worth less, and thus not be able to make a bunch of money just makes you look stingy.
