Unfortunately BVG said right from the get-go that they won't be replacing items or coins/YC lost due to the compromise of your Facebook account.

Keeping your FB account secure is in the players' hands, and I'm sorry if this sounds harsh, but I agree. You need to be careful not to give your password out to other people, nor to fall prey for the phishing scams.

I'm sorry this happened to you, and I hope you stick around and rebuild.

He's probably done this to others as well by now, and he should have been stopped the day I posted this thread.

Also, anyone who thinks I'm being rude for straight up saying this, get over it. I'm mad because this guy should have been banned ASAP. Instead, as far as I know, he's still out there hacking other people and taking their years of work away.

How do you know that player wasn't banned? BVG can't just come on here and say we banned him.

Tech they can. I seen someone take a screen shot of someone spamming at altons (copy paste to make bubble full and do it 3x in row) and Greg stated he banned the person who spammed. This was on community page (shouldn't make a dif).

The first time I logged in on Verizon Wireless, I freaked out because someone in NJ had logged into my account. After investigating, I figured out that it showed NJ on my phone because I don't turn my location on, so it defaulted to a Verizon location.

Yes, I did see that a couple of times. But I've always seen where BVG stated they wouldn't now unless the player stated it was okay. Maybe I'm just losing my mind! LOL

You can change the title! I didn't know that. I'll do that asap.
I put scammed in the title because...idk why. I just thought it was the right word at the time, and I didn't think I could change the title.

I don't know if he/she was yet, but that's why I asked. If I can't get any of my stuff back, then I at least want the person responsible banned before it happens again.

IF u are scammed, then why should BVG help you? Don't put words in my mouth..you have no clue on my line of thinking... You were still badmouthing BVG in your original post. I've never been hacked nor do I hack. I've never been scammed nor do I scam. I read and obey the rules and have lots of fun :)

Just to clarify, I was hacked; sorry for the confusion. And secondly, I agree if people were scammed because they didn't pay attention to what they were doing, BVG shouldn't have to help. However, I was hacked...IDK how! I changed my password 3 times the day I was hacked because fb said someone from two different places tried to log on. I can only assume it was keyloggers. The only problem is that it wasn't keyloggers. I didn't have it on my computer the day of the hacking, and my malware/security was up and fine. That's why I asked for help so they could shut the person down, and give back my stuff. (It's a win-win. I get my stuff back, he/she gets banned for hacking).

However, I was angry because he said he wouldn't do anything. And wouldn't you be mad? I didn't do anything wrong, I never gave out my password for the past 5 years, I played by the rules, someone hacks me and takes everything big I have bought over the years, and I'll I get is a message saying they don't record trades, so they can't do anything. (Which I later learned they do! What the heck!)

I was mostly mad because if this doesn't count as helping players in need, then what does? You said it yourself that they help players who are in need...how does this not qualify. Also, if this doesn't qualify, what does? --and that is the problem.

Make sure to provide proof of the attempts on your account

it will assist, as they try to sort out what happen to your account

I would guess right now they just dont have all the facts ...

oh and I would be looking to do a complete restore on my system ... clearly there is some sort of key logger or remote access ?

I am surprised this was not deleted weeks ago. Sad but true. It is good that others see how they handle their business, especially after all of the garbage Zynga put us through.

And what's the apartment link thing? I know what you're talking about (where u can see all the stuff), but what will that do?

If I understand you correctly, you changed your password 3 times the very day you were 'hacked' - it sounds like you knew an attack was imminent? And earlier you said the password you chose was 15 words long. Why were you so worried suddenly? It seems like you knew someone had access already.

...Yeah. I changed my password 3 times because facebook said someone tried to log onto my facebook...I decided to change it until I had a password I knew no one could ever guess.

I provided everything I could...I took screen shots, told them what I knew was missing, that I only had 20 coins, so that meant at lest 2 trades (with the amount of missing items, it was more than two though...), any suspicious stuff I could think of...Literally, I wrote down everything and anything relevant I could think of. (I followed up with 4 more messages of information as I discovered them/recalled them). After the long wait, I got the unfortunate message. Then I posted this because I couldn't believe the response message.

And trust me, I went over EVERYTHING on my computer! It didn't make any sense as to how I was hacked, so I went to microsoft to scan my computer, McAfee to look over their program, scanned the computer deeply myself, and changed all of my passwords after...minus the Facebook pw which I changed after I realized my money/yc/stuff was gone.
