Ok, for those of you who don't know what this is, last October I hosted a series made up of stories collected from players in YoWorld. The series was called Paranormal YoWorld. It was about things that happened in game which players found mysterious, scary, or just cryptic. I have here all of season one for those who are interested. Its not that long, lol, there are many mini-stories in there. Some people were curious at the forum party, so I posted season 1 for all to read. Enjoy, let me know what you think...

Episode 1

The Blue Man
Date of Occurences: October 9th-23rd, 2012

Hello, my name is XxLindaxX in game. I have been playing Yoville for about 4 years now. Here is my story, it happened to me back in October, 2012.

I was going to a few events to pass time, I was looking for some extra pieces to finish my Halloween costume. I was going make my own gothic version of the Dorothy costume. So I came to an auction, it was quite full but not too full. Everyone was sitting down, wile the owner had been placing multiple items in the front of the room, I took a seat. After a wile of watching a few bids and sales, the owner placed a white board art in front of the room to auction off. At the sight of the painting everyone went hype! Bids easily went over 12m quickly! I asked the person next to my avatar about the painting, she explained that the painting was supposedly haunted, and its very famous. I saw nothing very nice about the painting, it depicted a blue man, with his face twisted in agony. It looked very creepy, I thought this would be a very good opportunity to buy it and sell it for an even higher price, since everyone seemed to believe that it was haunted IN A GAME! So I placed the highest bid in the house, and everyone began to rage, and leave. About half of the people who were there originally had left, the owner then decided to sell it to me, he even lowered the price from what I offered (what a nice guy) and I got the white board.


I went home and placed the white board in the living room where I stored items that I would later sell. I saved the room then I looked the painting, what an ugly thing it was. Then the room froze, and I had to refresh. As I was reloading the game, and my avatar appeared in the living room, something caught my eye. All the way in the corner of the room, next to the white board, was a man. His skin was blue, and he was wearing a black suit and tie. As soon as I saw him, he poofed (I know how rude). So anyway it was almost time for me to go clock in at the factory, I went to do that. Then I logged off for the day, the next day I log in as usual, as the room loads I once again see the blue dude standing next to the board. He did not poof this time, I asked him how he got in and he did not respond. I began to look at his avatar standing next to the board, he was not moving. I saw a striking resemblance in both the guys avatar and the one on the white board. I felt a cold chill go down my spine in real life, then the guy poofed. Now I got worried, what if I was being stalked by a hacker of some sort? At that moment, my friend walked into the room, she sees the white board. If I remember correctly, she asked me about how I got the board in the first place. I told her, and she advised that I sell the dreadful thing right away. Now this is when I began to worry some more. Then she told me to go to some site and do some research, I did.


Later that night when I was looking for some answers, I found a fan site about Yoville that had a blog about the painting. They called the phenomenon, the Blue Man. I read some more and found that the painting was painted some time in 2009, by a noobie who just joined the game at the time. I read numerous reports on the said man, the previous owners of the painting claimed to have seen a blue man standing at or in the same room as the painting multiple times. Some even referred to it as The Blue Demon. At that point I was too creped out to keep the painting any longer. I log in quickly to start a sale the next day, and see the blue man, yet again standing next to the board. This time I confronted what ever it was. I told it that I was going to sell the painting, and I think I remember trying to kick it out, I then took the board and placed it in my inventory wile the man was still there. Big mistake! The man got infuriated, it walked over to me, then I froze. I had to refresh. When I came in, it was gone. To cut things short here, I sold it for a little higher than I got it for, let that hellish white board be some one else's problems! I was done! I had sold the creepy board and got some more coins than I had the last time, it was time to finish my gothic Dorothy costume! I went over to an auction, to by one of the last pieces for it. To my surprise, the owner of that auction was the same person I sold the board to, and he was at that moment auctioning it off, I left the room immediately and went back to my apartment, and there where on the wall where the board once was, was the Blue Man, waiting for me.

Good lord that was weird! I wonder our friend Linda is still seeing this Blue gentleman today! This next story comes to use from an anonymous user, who had just began to rent a new apartment in Yoville, but what secrets lurk inside? Could there be something else there with him?

The New Apartment

Hey guys this is my story. This happened to me in yoville a wile back. I was new at the time, I began to become more and more interested in the game. I had little friends, my buddy list was almost empty. I had little money to buy any new house of my own so I began to rent them off of other players for cheap. I came to this lady some person told me about, who rented houses for low costs. She was promising and showed me a few of the homes she had for the renting, the one that caught my attention was a trailer home. I began to rent it right away. I was saving up to buy a trailer home, so I figured why not try it first? I began to decorate the house with items with the help of the lady. I could not decorate it my self because it was not my home.

After she left the place was mildly decorated. I entered the bed room and got into the bed that came with the house. I thought maybe I could also decorate this room after the woman came back. As I was about to leave a man appears at the door way, he was dressed in black. I ask him what he was doing there, he walks up to me then leaves. No big deal, he was just lost maybe. The next morning I logged in and went to the trailer home after going to work at the factory. As I walked in I saw a woman in a black dress sitting on the couch of the living room. I ask her why she there and she gets up and walks into the bed room, I follow her. She walks over by the bed and then leaves. I messaged the lady and reported that there were intruders in the trailer home. She messages me back and tell me that they were not intruders. I ask her who they were, and she never responded.

She got on the next day and visited me for the rent that was due. After the trade I asked her about the people in the trailer. She told me it was no big deal, and to just ignore it. I kept bugging her about it about it until she just told me. She said that the lady who rented the place before me was strange. She once had filled the house with white boards and drew strange red symbols in them. The lady told me that she we feeling a little scared to be renting a home to such a person, so she kicked her out and gave the white boards back. So it was like her way of telling my that the trailer was haunted. I did not believe her, I do believe in ghosts in real life, but in a game? I decided to keep renting the home for a few more days. I was laying down in the bed in the bed room once again, and I was about to have a friend over. As I was about to click on my buddy list, a large group of players appeared around my bed. They all had pale skin with black clothing, their avatars were facing me. At that point I thought it was time to drop it and go back to my apartment as quickly as possible. When I got there I messaged the lady and told her that I wanted to discontinue with the renting. She replied back and said that it was ok, then gave back all of the items I had decorated the trailer with. I vowed never so rent another home on Yoville ever again!

Episode 2

The Little Boy
Date of Occurrences: February 19th-30th, 2012.
Player: Sally Maple Syrup

Hi guys. I am Sally Maple Syrup in Yoville. But most people just call me Sally, or Maple.

This happened to me last year. I was becoming a little bored with Yoville at the time. It was just another normal day, i was talking with my friend at the Alton Towers (we were just kicked out of an event, the owner wanted to scam me) and we began to talk about random stuff. After a wile the towers were becoming empty, and it was about time for me to log off. Just as i was about to say good bye to my friend, a guy appeared right next to my avatar. I could tell that by the way he was dressed that he was a little boy (or at least dressed like one). He smiles then throws a water balloon at me. I throw one back. I thought he was just playing around with me. My friend then asks me why i threw the balloon. I told her that the boy had thrown one at me first. She did not know who or what i was talking about, yet the boy just stood there. She told me that she saw no one there. I thought this was a little weird. Why was this little boy not showing up on my friends screen? The boy then poofed. It was getting late, and i had to log off.

The next morning i could not log in, i had to go to work in real life. When I came to log in that afternoon, i saw that it was time for me to go to the factory to get my coins. i logged in, then went over to the factory, and came back to my apartment directly after. When i loaded into the room, i saw the little boy, he was standing in the corner of the living room. I ask him why was he here. I notice his name was Charles. He says nothing, then walks up to me. He smiles then throws a water balloon at me then poofs. Soon after he left my friend walked in. Another girl follows her in, i am thinking this was probably one of her friends. We all sit down and talk. I tell my friend about the little boy and how i saw him again. She still had no clue on what i was talking about. I felt a little embarrassed because her friend was there. I hope her friend did not think that i was crazy or something. After they left i decided to so some research. I found no information on the internet about this mysterious little boy. Then i stumbled up on this very recent page, well it was recent at the time. There i read about 20 reports from other people who played Yoville. All of the said something about being stalked by the little guy. One of them even provided the link to his Yoville profile page. I clicked on it, i wanted to see this page for myself.

When i got to the profile, i saw nothing strange about it. But this was indeed the Charles i was seeing in Yoville. I took a look at his messages and he had plenty of fan mail. I took a peak at his homes. His homes were filled with plenty of toys. I decide to read some more of his messages. I notice something strange as i was scrolling down. The more deeper into the message box i got, the stranger these messages were. I began to see things like "RIP" and "You will be missed". This is when i began to feel very nervous. I take a look at the last time he was on. This is when i began to get very worried. This account has not been touched for years! His account was dormant! But how have i been able to see him in game? I rushed into the game to tell my friend about what i found, when i logged in i saw Charles. He was once again in my living room. This time he was sitting on the couch, crying. He then walks up to me and says something like good bye. Then he vanished, i never saw him again.

That was wacky! I hope that I can be visited by this Charles! Up next we have a very cool story that comes to us from an anonymous player. The player begins to mess around with a Yobaby, and soon find out about their imaginary friend. But then later on this person sees, that maybe this imaginary friend, is not so imaginary?


The Evil Imaginary Clown

Hi. Here is my story.

I was not new to yoville. By this time I had been playing the game for about 3 years. I began to find a strange interest in adopting yobabies, I just like to mess with them a lot. One day I came across an adoption center event, and I saw this yobaby that really caught my eye. I walked over to it and asked if it wanted to be my yobaby. It said "Ywes". Well duh, what else would such a thing say? Anyway I brought it home, and I had it chilling in the living room, wile I pretended to make it some baby food. It ate too much! Then I had to help it burp. Then came the worst part, giving it a bath! After its bath, it was time for the nap. I put it in the bed were I put all of my other yobaby victims to sleep in. It began to complain about it being too cold. So I pretended to cover it up in blankets. But I would not stop. I kept putting more and more blankets on it, eventually it formed a giant blanket mountain, the yobaby was inside. It then accused me of trying to suffocate it. It told me that it was going to call the yocops. I have already pretended to go to yoprison before. It was boring, I was not planning on going again. Then it told me that it was going to get its friend Mr. McSuffles to beat me up. Now since when do yobabies have imaginary friends? I offered to play a game of hide and seek. It agreed and got all happy. Yuck! Then I took it to one of my special haunted houses to play at. It did not like the place I had chosen, then began to cry "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!". I told it to shut its mouth or what ever it used to talk with. Then I explained that this was the best place to play hide and seek at. It calmed down, then told me that its friend Mr. McShuffles was going to be joining us. Why bring Mr. ImaginaryPixels into this? I began to count, wile it ran inside to hide.

I gave it three minutes to hide. I went inside to find it. I found it behind on of the trees in my haunted living room. It then told me that I had also found Mr. McShuckles as well. I was thinking of a scarier game to play, when something else in the room caught my attention. Something moved from one tomb stone to the other on the other side of the room. It then stepped out, revealing itself. It was some dude dressed up as some psycho clown. There was also a bloody smile carved into his face. I was about to kick this person out. Then I read his name. Mr. McSnuffles! I thought he was not real. I thought he was just imaginary pixels! Why was clown face in my room? He then began to run around the room and laugh uncontrollably, the yobaby began to cry again, and here we go "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!". I thought this was getting creepy. Forget that yobaby, I was out of there! I then removed the yobaby from my buddies. I never wanted to see it or its clown ever again.

Episode 3

A Ghostly Possession (Macy Jay's side of the story)

I never was the person to adopt yobabies, but my friend dared me to do it a wile back. I walked into an adoption center to see which YoBaby suited me more. One of them walked up to me and asked if I could be her yomother. I could not resist, she looked very innocent. She was not like the other yobabies, she wore baby-pink clothing with a skirt. Her hair was blonde, and she wore a pink bow on it. Her name was Cindy. I found it delightful that she did not talk with all of those annoying "Ws" yobabies talk with. I brought the little one home, and played a few games with her. I knew she probably was not so young in real life, but role playing like this with another person was quite an enjoyable experience. We did things like walking through a house which I had decorated as a park, and going for long walks in the town. After a few days of having a yobaby and being a yomother, I began to see strange things happening here. At some points, I would see her chatting on her own, as though someone was there with her, when I left the computer to handle my kids in real life. Some times she would cry for no reason, and other times she would get angry at nothing. I was beginning to think that she was only playing around.

After a few more days, I began to notice that this strange new trend of behaviors were getting stronger and stronger. I asked a friend, Luna, to see if she knew anything about yobabies. She hated yobabies, but she came over and joined me in game anyway to take a look. She began to ask Cindy plenty of questions. The responses she was giving us were very strange. She began to talk about how a woman in a white dress was visiting her. I thought this was quite strange, I have never seen this woman. She then told us that the woman only came when she was left alone. I hoped that this woman was not stalking her, me and Luna were chatting on Facebook trying to figure out what or who Cindy was talking about. For the next day, Cindy's behavior was normal. That is until my friend JasonX walked in, Cindy got furious, she began to yell and scream and shout at him. I tried to have Cindy calm down, but instead she poofed, leaving me and Jason there confused. Jason asked what he had done wrong to upset her. I told him I had no clue.

I went back to Luna for help. We were talking in game and Cindy pops in. We tell her to sit down and explain what has been going on lately. She told us that a woman named Mary was telling her to do bad things. Me and Luna were scratching our heads trying to find out who this Mary lady was. Cindy then told us that Mary wore a white dress, this was the very same woman that she told us about before. I was still confused about this lady. Cindy told us that Mary was a ghost. That's when I finally realized what was going on! Cindy was pretending that she was being visited by a ghost woman, and wanted us to play along! Me and Luna found this a good time to role play. Luna pretended to read a book about the supernatural, and how to repel such ghosts. I began to whip up an anti-ghost spray, I know, not the best idea I have ever had. So as me and Luna continued to role play, Cindy got sad, I guess she thought we were making fun of her, but it was never like that. I felt bad, Luna on the other hand appeared to be having a good time. We continued to talk after Cindy left, it was almost time for Luna to leave. After Luna left and I was all alone, something bizarre happened. After sitting there thinking about what I was going do next, a large group of people appeared in my apartment! They all dressed up as little children, or maybe they really were little children? They all had pale skin, and their eyes were bleeding. They all looked sort of dead. I found it quite scary how they were all able to appear in my room like that, they all stood there, saying nothing. One of them walks closer to me, her eyes were bleeding too, and she wore black clothing, and held a teddy bear in one hand. She says to me "Don't trust Mary, she is the bad woman" after she told me that, they all disappeared at once.

I raced to Luna the next morning and told her everything that had happened! About the half-dead children visiting me and about how Mary was supposed to be a bad woman and all that stuff! She got a little scared. She began to read some info about this Mary on the internet, I did the same thing. I found out that her full name on Yoville was Mary Everlasting, some other pages even talked about her full name being Marylaid Everlasting. I now knew that this was not just us, but almost the whole game knew about her. I found Cindy, and told her to not let Mary Everlasting influence her no more. That's when the most horrific stuff began to happen, after I told her this, Cindy began to cry uncontrollably. Luna was there also. Cindy began to talk about how she lost her children. Children?! What Children?? Luna then sent me a private chat, she believed that Marylaid could of be possessing Cindy. I thought this was too farfetched! No person could become possessed on an internet game! Well unless its part of the game, but in this case, it was not! Cindy then began to scream she walked towards me and yelled at me, she wanted me to give back what belonged to her. At that point I began to yell back, I told her that I had none of her children, I told her to get out of my home! Cindy then stopped talking, and there next to her, appeared Mary Everlasting! I figured, this is it! Its Mary! She is showing herself to me! Mary began to laugh non-stop, it was one of those evil laughs. She walks over to me, she then said something that if I remember correctly, was "My children..." she disappeared, I never saw her again. After that day, Cindy began to act normal again. I was relieved. Cindy then moved out of the house after she thought she was old enough to live on her own and go to yocolledge, lol. After continuous search, I found the profile page of Mary Everlasting, the very same one who was haunting Cindy, here.

A Ghostly Possetion (Luna's side of the story)

Hi, I am Luna.

I was decorating a home one day, it was a peaceful afternoon. After I was just about done, one of my friends visits my home. Her name is Macy but in Yoville she is called Macy Jay. She asked me to follow her, she told me that she was having some kind of Yobaby problems. I never liked Yobabies. I always though that they were weird. I also wondered why Macy would want to even adopt a Yobaby. She never showed any interest in them. When a got to the room, the Yobaby was sitting on her couch, pretending to be drinking apple juice. I don't remember properly, but I think the Yobaby's name was Cindy, or Cleo? So Macy told me that her Yobaby was acting a little funky. I told her that all Yobabies act strange. She then began to explain how she was changing and her behaviors were all off. She told me she was quite normal when she first adopted her. I sat next to the Yobaby, I wish I could remember her name. I asked her as many questions as possible. She was answering them all. I found that her replies were a tad bit off and creepy. She tells us that a scary woman in a white gown was stalking her. I think me and Macy were chatting on Facebook at the same time, I cannot remember. Then the Yobaby left. It was almost time for me to go too. So me and Macy say goodbye to each other, then I left.

A few days later Macy comes back and tells me that she needs more help. She takes me to her Yobaby and she tells us that the ghost lady in the white gown was still watching her. She tells us that she was a ghost named was Mary. I got very worried. I hope this Mary was not the same Mary I was thinking about! I have heard of Mary Everlasting before, but I never believed she was real. But any who, Macy then thought that she must have been playing around, so we decided to play along. I brought out and pretended to read a book about ghosts, and spooky stuff like that. Macy, to be honest I had no clue to what she was doing. First she was stirring something, then she began to spray what ever it was all over the room, and the Yobaby. I had to leave once again. After logging back on that very same night, something scary happened to me. I was standing alone in the living room of my home. I was about to start decorating again. Just as I was about to click the decorate button, about a dozen of children appeared in my room. I think they were children, they sure did look a lot like children. They all had dull clothing like different shades of gray, black, and white. They all were as pale as ghosts, I also think that their eyes were bleeding. They were all crying, and they would not stop crying! Then they all disappeared at the same time. The next day Macy comes back, she was very hype, she tells me that she was visited by dead children. I saw the very same thing as well, I did not tell her, I did not want her to worry so I never told her. I then began to do some research about Mary, Macy was doing the same thing. After that, we went to look for the Yobaby. Macy told her something, I forgot what it was. But after she said that, the Yobaby began to cry a lot! Cindy also said that she was looking for her children. This was a crazy idea but I thought maybe Mary Everlasting was possessing her? Macy and her Yobaby then began to yell at each other, then Mary popped up right next to the Yobaby. Mary began to laugh. Then she mentioned her children, then disappeared.

I'm really sorry but that's to much to read. I'm sure it's great though.
