That's a no-go for me, but before I start looking for a new home for this little bugger, did anyone experience the same thing with any other items? Does this cat eat more things or just wings?

You guys have this all wrong. You bought a cat. Those are the cat's wings now. The duty belt also belongs to the cat. Your whole existence is now for your cat. They will have it no other way. If your very very lucky, your cat might let you wear her wings one day, or her duty belt. I wouldn't count on it though. It doesn't look like a very lovey kitty. :D ;)
