Is what a scam? Can you be more specific? Do you mean when people ask you to buy yc items for them and put in the AH? If so, it could be a major time waster. Although you should be able to sell them regardless.

If you're meaning going to someone's event saying the need a yocash item for the AH and will you buy it for them, then they pay you for it after? Almost 99% of that is a scam. They kick you out after you purchase the item ( which is most likely theirs)

It's when a person asks you to buy an item for yc in the ah and then say they'll pay you. Most of the time it's the same person who put it there.

If you are asked to buy a yc item for someone from the AH, more than likely it's a scam, unfortunately honest people loose out here because we don't know who to trust. if someone wants to buy an item from you and is offering to pay yc for it, then put into AH and they can buy it. Not sure which you mean.

This is the scam that I have been hearing about. The person puts the item in AH for yocash, and ask you to go buy it for him/her so that they get the yocash from you... then they poof.. leaving you with the item that you did not want and down Yocash.

I would no longer participate in yocash transactions, except with trusted friends..

Rule #1 of selling yocash. Never purchase from the AH for them unless you have direct access to their throat. ;)

Especially watch out for events of people offering WAY too good of a rate like 45:1 and requesting an AH purchase. ;)

When dealing YoCash always buy from store just to be on the safe side. People try to get you to buy their item for YoCash and then run after they get the cash :geek:

The only time I sell YC is when it's with friends, or people on the forums. :)

I made one purchase this way. Saw something I really wanted that had a Yocash Buy Now option and found a dealer. I paid her half up front and the remainder when she traded me the item. If you ever do this, just be sure you are willing to pay the amount of yocash for the item and it is worth it in case you wind up owning that item. I see a lot trying to scam by putting some cheap coin item in there and then trying to get someone to buy it for them for 50YC. Peep like that should be banned

If someone asked me to buy something from the AH for cash I would test them first by saying I already had the item and offering to sell it to them for what they are offering. If you get kicked you know it was a scam.
