I tongue in cheek brought up that it wasn't the AH that got fixed - I do feel a little bad about that considering all the other things that went wrong for them on this maintenance. I'm feeling for the BVG team and us right now. I bet they are banging their heads against walls right about now.

That's scary though. Shows there's not a good development policy in place to modify the source code.

Compiling issues are complex, even a period in the wrong place can throw things out of wack and take hours or even days to find, depending on the size of the particular code.

Yup and codes change too over the yrs - what worked once can then become obsolete. I've never programed anything, but i use to dabble in HTML and that changed rather quickly into a whole knew language. So I had to think what changed in programing codes etc.

Shows that Zynga left a mess I think. I mean BVG ain't hacks, they just got to deal with what the been left with. And we all know Zynga didn't give a rats behind. So if the coding is scrambled, and BVG got to figure out, how the heck they put it all together.. It must be soooooooo frustrating. I know when i work on something and it doesn't work, over and over again, I get frustrated, and I don't have all these spectators and comments along the way lol.
