When decorating in YoWorld, do you design an entire house with the same theme?
Or do you have rooms of different themes in a house?

I admire when someone can dedicate an entire house to a theme, but for some reason I have a hard time finding enough ideas to stick through one theme.
So most of my houses which I have decorated more than one room in (many are still empty), have a mixture of different themes in them.
Only one of my summer pool houses so far has only wedding related rooms (3 or 4 I believe).

Never. I buy houses based on floor layouts and my planned use. If a particular house has a feature exclusive to that house that I want for a room, I might buy the house to do the one room I want and use the rest for storage. Avenues are a great for me as I often get lost or forget a room because I bury the exit markers.

I love decorating it By theme, For example, Mafia and Police. I hate decorating with Bits of other themes Here and there, But only if it matches I'll do it. :D

I haven't been able to do it. I have a cottage I love, but a few rooms found their way to other themes.
Now I am working on my spaceship but there just isn't enough stuff out there to do a whole spaceship without spending a year hunting it down and spending my retirement on it. Well, not the way I want to. I want more Star Trek, but the Space theme seems to be a bit more WALL E.
I'm holding out though, one day we will have another space or sci-fi theme and dangit...I'm gonna have a whole space ship come hells or high water!!

I'm decorating my houses as four seasons theme. One house for Spring, one house for summer, one house for autumn and one house for winter. I still haven't decorated a Spring house yet but later.

That sounds like a lovely idea.

I want to stick to hotel for one house and the groovy house I don't wanna mix with anything else either.
Not so easy.

Each house I decorate has a "theme", my own decided theme, and I mix and match items from the different store bought themes.

I did a ranch house like this before, I already tore it down, each room was a different season with the front yard a mix of the four.

I quite often do whole houses in the same theme or style - I do pull different store themes together within that though so long as they blend in. For example for medieval, I might use items from spellbound, vikings, three musketeers, etc to get the effect I want. Sometimes I mean to only do one room and just get carried away if it's something I really like. I just bought the Yocropolis home to turn into a museum/art gallery - I thought it might be a prettier way of storing some of the stuff I probably won't use otherwise. When I first had the idea it was on a much smaller scale but I sort of got carried away. So now I have a much bigger project to keep coming back to and it should keep me busy for a while.

I don't have any house complete with a single theme. Every room is from a different one. I love going from room to room and enjoying the totally different scenes. :)

Funny thing is, Im a little obsessive about trying to decorate an entire house with the same theme. Sometimes that can prove to be difficult.

Depends, in my apartment, each room is a different theme. But in other homes, I try to stick to one theme, but always borrow stuff from other themes that fit in, so that there's variety.

Sometimes I buy a house for the theme, like the spooky village is my halloween house and the yomart i actually turned that into a police station. I also bought one of the coin houses to turn it into a Resident Evil themed home. Some house I have just have random things in each room.

I like these houses too. It's always a cool surprise to see what the next room holds. :D

It depends.
I used to try my best to decorate an entire house of a specific theme. I have a few houses decorated that way. But they are super old themes. Like 50's theme, whimsical, etc.

Later, when they started to release too many themes one after the other, with all seating and basic furniture being yocash, I gave up with trying to complete themes. I started to do 1 room for each theme using onlt the items I like the most.

After 2012, I gave up that too. I only got a few things that I really like, and put them in some already finished rooms where they would look best, (such as adding a few alice in wonderland items in my whimsical house)

or I try to be creative and make up my own theme getting inspired around 1 single item Such as emerald rain witch. I created a witch heaven just because of that item. I don't have a complete emerald city house.

My dream is to buy the valentines theme house and fully decorate it with that theme. I love italy/tuscany where I have lived the best days of life in real. That theme is soooooo tuscan with all those sunflowers etc. That's why im kinda obssessed with that stuff. But I know that's never going to happen. I won't be able to find all items.

Shortly since a long time, I decorate randomly. Something here, another thing there..

Nope.
I usually get an idea of what kind of rooms I want to do, and then mix all sorts of themes to get it right. I've never gotten into the
"theme" thing myself.
