Dear Pete,
My dance club needs fresh and exciting exotic animals. The girls are always begging for a pet too. I was thinking a monkey, because it can climb the pole when we shut down for the night.

What are your recommendations?

A monkey will do the job but if you get one monkey then you need another or they get quite trouble.

Edit: Beware of monkeys they like to throw poop *
