I swear I go to any "rare" sale and I get completely ignored because I look like I don't have a lot of money, but in reality I don't like spending money on clothes or accessories.

I could buy anything I wanted in their measly "rare" sale. :lol:

Yeah, I read about this a lot.
I don't really sale hop so this hasn't happened to me yet. I'll go to an event only if it's something I want. And, if they do kick me out because of this...then they didn't deserve my coins to begin with.

I hear you. When I first started I immediately started saving up some coins. I never bought clothes for several months. So finally I go to my first auction and for that era I had a LOT of coins, but was still wearing my noob clothes. I was treated so rudely that I didn't go back to any auction for years.

Their loss. I had coins to spend. :lol:

When I have a sale it's first come first serve. Although if i'm trying to do it alone. It'll get confusing, especially when everyone is coming at you. Then it's hard to tell who asked first lol

Honestly, people shouldn't judge how someone looks. I can go around wearing starter clothes and make a better fashion statement than someone where an 08. I also noticed how horrible people treat those in "noob" clothing. It is just sad. We all started somewhere people.

Awhile back I had an experience where I went to an event to discuss some latest happening. I was just standing there talking with everyone else and someone told me I should leave. I was dressed "down". I replied to her that I don't follow yoworld "rules" of dress and added my retros to my look. She immediately left. So while it's good to stand up for ourselves, what happens to the people who don't have retros? I decided that day that I would always defend people who were being picked on for no reason.

LOL I get booted from sales and auctions.....I don't even care though. It is good to not give my coins to those who are so obviously shallow they judge people's worth based on how their Yo looks.

The same happens to me because I don't wear (or own) rets and menorah hat or carry a stupid bow. I hate all that stuff, all it is is status symbols, like wearing Givency and Gucci in real life. Whatever, I prefer to dress in what I like that's affordable, end of. It doesn't say anything about how yorich I am or am not.

maybe she just didn't see you. i know my yo does that a lot...there will be someone in the room but they simply do not show on my screen whatsoever while other there see them no problem. no sure if its a yo problem or just crappy internet
