I am trying to trade hair with someone. I have the hair but it does not show up in trade. How do I sell it to them ?

Are you by chance wearing the same hair and trying to trade the same hair?

Usually if you are wearing something, even if you have multiples of them, you can't trade it. You'd have to take it off first.
