If facebooks TOS ( terms of service ) has stated no fake accounts, no fake names then why do I see so many YoWorld Facebook profiles with fake names?
Yo Worldian or YoVillian or Yoville is not a real last name. It is a fake name, an obvious one,; it is quite obvious. :silly:
We Admins are responsible. If you do not remove them, then you are "BUYING LIKES" using people with fake names to +up your number of likes.
This s not a competition. It s a GROUP-PAGE Achievement. How many other pages ever succeeded in getting someone to buy out after the sunset? :)
--Edited again_ thank you so much for the EDIT!!!!
(Thank you thank you.. My brain thinks twice as fast as my fingers move and by the time my fingers put it down it switched to another word but near the same.)
Only YoVille! It is the only game. We have the sweetest name now YoWorld. ;)
Please Like and share from page to page.
I will tag pages and beg each of you to do the right thing among us.

(Thank you thank you.. My brain thinks twice as fast as my fingers move and by the time my fingers put it down it switched to another word but near the same.) so happy about edit. If anyone sees anything I wrote and it is ridiculous for me to edit, please please, I beg you to bump.
Fake Pages
The very moment Big Viking Games bought YOVILLE, pages in Facebook were already started even before the announcement. They posted Pictures of Big Viking Team, they posted Links to their pages and made it look quite official. Some said they were the official page. I seen 2 pages one with 10, 000 and one with 4,000. I was in excitement as we all were that Big Viking Games bought us.
What about fake don't we understand. It is either a real BVG page or it is not. I have 3 of them book marked. This is the same problem I had before in fb and any Game in fb. there are so many pages stating they are the pages for the game, even stating "official" and they are not. We get information of things some is true, some is not.

I wish our pages were *under BVG. We sponsor BVG. We need consistency on the pages that "represent bvg." No, we are not official, but we officially support it by games, by help, by community driven by sharing. Not all our friends in fb are in the forums. If we only use this as a means of advertising it is a way to cut off our own hand.
I suggest that we all have consistency on FB pages and here and also that BVG is head over our pages in some why and officially give a stamp of approval for pages who
1. follow the rules, No fake names, Yoworldians or Yovillians as last names to be on the page.
2. No cussing, including admin on the pages.
3. Zero tolerance for bullying
4. Have things linked , and on page state they are not the official page.
5 We need our pages also "UNITED" so to work as a team with the admins to big support to promote the game.
Thank you.

You are allowed to make a Facebook page about whatever..that was the purpose, and as a page you cannot view people's Facebook profile...that is why they don't have harsh rules about pages....and as far as fake names on profiles, Facebook has been cutting down on people with fake names and profiles that have a yo character or IMVU character as their profile picture have been main targets.

As for everything else, can't help you there.

I thank you RavenNevermore for your reply and explanation. I meant to say Facebook "Profiles, " not pages. I know there is like a "cover over" the profiles if a page is viewed as a page. It took me a long time to spot this. I am refering to Facebook Profile names.
Example, Max Yovillian. or Multi Task Yoworldian or or Chloe YoWorldian. The names were not pages but profile names. I am blocking all faked names. We are not allowed to have "fake names" on our pages.
black- white- over site, blagh.
I thank you for your reply. I learned something.
EDIT is outstanding.

Some people use names like "Mr YoWorld" so that other YoWorld players will know that they're interested in the game and add them. They're not all doing it to trick people. :)

Doing things against the TOS of Facebook and BVG will not get a person any more known as a YoWorld Player. A profile picture says the same thing as a fake name. The rules in Fb and in BVG are Real names. Be real to play and people sneaking around without a real name evade accountability.

absolutely, if they used real names a whole lot of cat play would be taken out of the equation.

Yes, I do not understand how a site makes a rule and they allow peeps to go around the constituents of the restraints. Maybe it is a learning thing.
Shrugging?

But we ARE allowed to give our avatars their own name in YoWorld. I don't judge others, I let YoWorld worry about this. I'm too busy having fun!

I'm just getting back on after a 2 yr absence as someone close to me started playing the game. But one of the things I distinctly remember having trouble with, and was a big part of why I discontinued playing, was that in order to proceed to any point in this game, one had to add friends from FB. It was a pity, for I had great enjoyment from the game, but this fact was extremely frustrating, and now even much more so, for my friends who used to play no longer have interest. And now I'm getting no where with no crew members. So I'm not sure if I'm going to stay.

Now keep in mind that FB doesn't want one "friending" anyone they don't actually know and one can actually get in trouble with FB for reaching out to people they've never actually met. Not to mention one doesn't necessarily wish to add strangers to their FB page and having them privy to what they post about their life. So this limits the play for a good many people. Yes, there is the option to pay, and I certainly don't begrudge the developers and those working for BVG of getting money for a game. But it seems a bit unrealistic to require one to ask 15 people one actually knows outside of cyberworld to play this game in order to proceed.

Or maybe I am simply not the sort of person which BVG is hoping to play the game, someone who doesn't have a list of FB friends who spend as much time as I on online games.
I just hold that it is possible more people would play, if one could befriend people they meet on the game itself, and have them as neighbors.

And the more people you have playing the game, the more people there are to spend money on the game.

Just food for thought.
