So I got dragged to a movie because there has been a serious absence of movies, and I relented and consumed a movie I wouldn't normally watch. The previews smelled funny, the plot line seemed off, and I wasn't interested at all. But I'm in it for the Milk Duds, so off we went.......

What I got out of my investment was nothing short of magical. Everything that makes a movie great showed up in this film. I got drawn into the characters. I empathized and sympathized with their struggles. I laughed my ass off many times during the dialogue. I'm talking "embarrass the wife" laughing out loud to the point people turned to check if I was ok. LOL It was very well written, the deliveries were spot on, the dialogue ultra realistic, and heartfelt doesn't even begin to describe this film. If you enjoy being alive and everything about life and love, you will be drawn into this film.

So for anyone out there brave enough to try a movie, this one is worth both your time and your money. On my scale from 1 to 10, it is a solid 9. No questions asked. You can take my man card away if you don't enjoy yourself.

In all seriousness, though, I definitely wanna see that movie! But even w/o the current COVID-19 situation going on, I probably wouldn't go see it in theaters (unless it's a drive-thru/auto theater, but I checked and our local ones aren't showing it atm) bc it'd trigger my social anxiety and agoraphobia so I'll just wait until it's released on DVD. :balloon:

You are not alone there. We went on a Friday night at 9pm and there were 8 people in a theater for 250. I don't even know if Bond will bring people back to the theaters in November. We are about to find out. If that movie fails, then they may shut it all back down.

I miss my weekend movies. We had the passes and would go see something every weekend. I don't care if it was trash or treasure, I just like movie theaters. So we'll see......
