The Tea Is Ugly

Just a little while ago I found myself explaining to someone in these forums about the ridiculous number of breakdowns in the ice cream machines at McDonalds. And OMG................

Today I tripped over a story about the scandal inside of McDonalds that has finally spilled into a court ordered injunction around the Taylor company responsible for leasing/selling ice cream machines to McDonalds with INTENTIONAL faulty code designed to break the machines and force a repair.

Another company identified the flaws and invented a device specifically engineered to override the faulty code and keep the machines operational. McDonalds found out about the devices, worked with Taylor to develop a copy device, and then issued a mandate to force all stores to use the stolen tech.

We can't make this sh*t up my friends. Holy crapoly I'd fire everyone involved at corporate. What a breach of integrity.

Here I always thought it was because they did not want to clean them or rather slow at cleaning them. :haha: It always made me skeptical about ordering any kind of ice cream from them. :haha: If it takes that long to clean are they really being cleaned properly? :silly:

Here's the kicker with that. My husband in the process of having all of his teeth extracted...a lovely legacy from his time in Vietnam. Long story short, he got throat cancer and they killed it with radiation, but it wiped out his teeth in process, so he's getting some new chompers that won't hurt him.
So, we've been hitting up the fast food milk shake machines, for sure, since he had all his top teeth taken out (the bottoms go today). It's not just McD's that been hit by the milk shake machine gremlins. Jack in the Box and Dairy Queen were hit, too.

The individual franchises are also not allowed to have the machines repaired through a third party either, or by themselves, they can only have it done by the company they bought it from. you can thank Corporate Mcdonalds for that.

I worked at Mcdonalds, an lemme tell ya, after everything, i refuse to eat there, and other fast food places if i can help it, purely on principle. I would rather support more local places. If I DO however, eat at a fast food place for whatever reason, i refuse to go Mcdonalds, and i either go to Burger King, Or Wendys, purely out of spite(even though they are just as bad on most things). The food industry is toxic as hell, especially the fast food sector.

It actually does take awhile to clean them, and the one i was at, we waited to the resturant was closed to clean it, since it requires a deep cleaning, and we didn't have time to do it during the day.
