Welcome to the forums. Buddy lists have been a pain for about 3 months now. Multiple refreshes are the only way I've found to get them to show up.

BVG does things they think will sell. They don't exclude other countries as much as they cater to the US. They do so because that is where most of the spending comes from. If other countries spent more, they'd see more stuff.

Every BVG theme has a code. Those codes can be used to search for any item related to that theme. That's how I find stuff.

I hope this stuff makes a little sense?

Living in Bavaria / Bayern, Germany but originally from Hessia/Hessen , Germany , I had been hoping for another, larger Oktoberfest theme after the smaller original one. Seeing it tied to a gem event was surely not my preference. It's disappointing when themes which have not been done 5 times and over are held hostage in such an event. Thanks to severe inventory issues I cannot even submit outfits for those challenges, and I lag so much that it takes ages to create a room for them, therefore those won't submit when I try. Of course that strongly limits the amount of gems I earn in those events. In Auction House the gem exclusive items are sold for an arm, a leg and your first born child . Of ourse I don't blame the players. If that's how the system works (with the items held hostage) they may as well make some coinage from selling those items for whatever they can get for them.
Since I don't blow coins or YoCash on gambling - and these events are nothing but a gamble - BVG won't make any money off me by placing this theme in such an event. Were the items available in stores, I would be spending a good amount.

The buddy list has been another major pain for a good while, and this morning ads seem to be greyed out without even watching a single one.

Hi Terri I just checked the bows and they seem to process for me. There's many reasons Yo may be struggling for you, and most of them have nothing to do with the game code itself. They can include your computer hardware and software, your router, your internet provider, and your bandwidth. If your devices are more than 5-7 years old, it could be that they are keeping you from enjoying Yo. Yo uses a lot of RAM, so if you are on a device with 4 or less RAM, you might be getting a traffic jam there. Your internet speed can be tested. I find that it has to be around 10 MBPS or higher on the download side to run Yo and stream TV without hiccups. And an old router can really bottleneck everything. They've really advanced the past few years and can handle a lot more traffic now.

Anyway, Yo still dorks up at times for me and my set up is pretty solid. So I'm not saying it is never the game itself. I'm just saying some of your aggravation might be technical on your end. Hope this helps!
