Ty for the share Misty and ty for the thread Jade. Will check back in tomorrow to see if more peeps post. I am assuming a mashup again based off the dress up one?

A quick dip in the voting pool resulted in these finds, rare that I see anything beyond basic spaces. This however was mostly just rooms with items tossed in and no real design patterns .... I was expecting a bit more. personally, I loved this, I would want to do more of this --- it is a all around great idea, that gets the old and mouldy out for a airing and tests our creativity--- i will tuck in later for another peek

I skipped voting for probably more than 90% of the choices because they were neither fusion nor pleasing. I hope the winner went by the criteria presented in this challenge. Sheesh!

Yup! It was a mash up of Cozy Kawaii (CK2022) and Gothic Chic (GC2022). I was having fun with my room but ran out of time. Can't even remember quite what I submitted.

are you referring to my post, saying it was confusing?
i was talking about how the descriptions usually tell us what room it is, however this one showed us a bed in the image and said "octagonal room" and did not require any bedroom items (other than a cat bed). my starting point is always what kind of room is it (bedroom, living room, front yard etc), then i grab the furniture i want to use.. this one was open to interpretation.
i think whether or not people went one theme more heavily than another (instead of a real obvious fusion) was a matter of personal taste or choice rather than a lack of understanding the word "fusion", but who knows.

I never get upset at bad scores now. I simply write it off to my inability to GUESS what people are going to take away from these stupid briefs.
But hey...it's fun, right?
