I've played the game since Summer 2009. I've been through the store frontwards and backwards up until about 2011. Especially the "Old Standby Themes".

Today I went to an event. Each room had items for sale and there was a whiteboard with the price conveniently displayed. I went into one room with items priced at 1000 coins each. I saw the Oktoberfest Maid and thought "Hey, that will be great in the kitchen of my Eerie Castle". Then I saw 2 chairs. I thought "Those would be great with that Girly Theme". So I bought the 3 items. The person having the sale was very pleasant and I would go back and shop again based upon how easy it was and how nice they were.

I'm putting the stuff I bought away. Then I get to thinking. I go to the store. Go to the Girly Girl section. There are my chairs for 100 coins each! :lol:

Oh well, helped someone out trying to raise a little coin.

Yeah. I'm trying to stay positive and I do realize I should have been more careful. I'm just glad it wasn't on a big ticket item. I'd like to give the seller the benefit of the doubt, but...

I have been playing since 2009 I have no ideal what anything costs, except I paid for it. I do have some items I'm not using and could easily make some coins but I don't sell I just don't want to short change myself or over charge any one. I do know what's in the stores so if I'm at events I'm sharp!

You can bet I am going to be more careful from now on. I was out of the game pretty much for the last several years. Would pop in here and there and do a little quick shopping in the store, look in the forums and get scared and leave! lol
