Collectibles are easy to determine, but what classifies as an old item? Item's made in 2013? An item as soon as it leaves stores gets classified as old?

Will old items and collectibles be re-released?
Gary: If the item was officially released previously and everyone had the opportunity to get it, then no. We know item rarity and value is very important to the players, and we respect that.

Gary's reply refers to a more general case, not just old items and collectibles: Released items that regular players had a chance to get.

Yes..I think it was all pretty clear what they stated. Myself I could careless about that stuff but for the ones that want it fine. I'm just happy they won't be re-releasing and that they'll have new and interesting exclusive items out there.

I understand Pete what you are trying to point out.

"Old" could possibly be vague and some folks might into more black and white statement into their definition just like in "Laws" when lawyers defending their clients to understand further more your perspective.

Another point is "should it be clear by its definition" already, those official words and statement from bvg could be the basis of future "trading game" like playing the "cards" for the hardcore players in trading side of the game like gambling or pokers or mahjong or stocks.

The question is about two specific categories, old items and collectibles, the answer reflects that.

What classifies as an old item?

Well most of us understand exactly what it meant. I guess it might confuse some and if it does...maybe ask Gary or Greg to explain it for you :)

Where is the beaten horse picture. We need it about now. Many things were in that interview and no one wants to discuss those things.

Adeline,

People only care about their pixels. The people who want to protect their value in game via them and the people who want them cheaply because they cannot save up. And then there's some people who just enjoy watching chaos, I might be one of them.

I was really tickled how the interview came out. I'm one happy camper right now :) And I think everything was clear to me. I can see why some might get confused. Only thing I can think of is they need to read it a few times lol
