Yes I think they need to release more items and keep them in store for decorators to use. I would even like to see different size circles and squares of different colors that could be used by decorators.

I know when a theme leaves store I end up buying a lot of the items I use for decorating but it's hard to totally anticipate how many you need. It would be nice to have some items that would stay in store forever that we could continue to use.

I am not a hoarder, and some times the timing is not necessarily convenient for me to buy hundreds of items in anticipation they maybe needed. Some examples I may not had enough coins at that time, or real life interfered with the game or plethora of other things....if you know what I mean. So, yes, having them available at stores would be a huge help.

the only downside to having a constant supply is, there is a constant supply.. and I don't know if there is enough decorators to warrant it... I noticed over the years that decorators are few and far between.. most players set down a couch and chair, throw a rug underneath, and then load up the rare items around that...

the only advantage to removing the decorating items is this.. decorators can then get into the buying and selling aspect of the game.. buying many grass tiles, and selling later, not at 100k per tile mind you, but for a reasonable profit

I don't think anyone is talking about leaving all furniture from every theme in store, just some of the most useful decoration items like the grass squares. And I think you would be surprised at how many decorators there are out there. I think a majority of the money made in this game comes from those who are interested in decorating and not those interested in clothes, collecting or the buy and sell aspect. Eventually BVG will see if more yc is spent on furniture compared to spent on clothes, if they don't already have that information. Decorators tend to be a more quiet bunch I think.

I skipped forward it would be nice to have them put some decorating stuff in yodepot or even add some coin sofas to reg stores or buildable in factory. I would love to see Paris, City of love and Southern released again. I posted that in Suggestions and got my head chopped off lol Theres lots of themes that dried up in yo and if they want to bring prices down then open all the stores on and off. I don't even care if its the early years, the later yrs are better looking pixels.2012 and up. When a new theme comes who wants to spend half millon coins on a sofa?

This! ^ Lots of us decorate but don't show off our work here, or anyplace for that matter. I used to spend lots on furniture. I love clothing as well, but the main reason I've been playing this long is the decorating. I have some houses I love but we can't change the floors on the outdoor areas and those grass patches were the best! And those wall panels, etc. They were staples for decorators.

Your head is looking pretty good right now (LOL)... And yes they should do something as a company for people like us. Because "IGNORING" us will cost company MONEY.
BVG did amazing job on Fish World, why not use the same model here? The variety of content to be found in the store in FW is staggering. Depending on your tastes and shopping moods, you could buy anything, and if so called "collectors" want their "My PRECIOUS" to stay in high price range, BVG should some research on what items are the most valuable and keep it in the VIP section, make it too expensive for anyone to buy, do something about those things, but keep the rest of the items available for decorators or anyone for that matter, to play the game. I AM TALKING ABOUT FURNITURE ONLY, please don't get the coronary... I really can care less about fashion, so as far as this post is concerned all of it can be a "My PRECIOUS" :)

Can someone from BVG staff, PLEASE, let us DECORATORS know if we can have our GRASS, FLOWERS, WINDOWS, DOORS, WALLS, LIGHTS, GATES, PONDS, CHANDELIERS, TREES and PLETHORA of other decorating kind of items from all the themes back in the game.
This items will help everyone of us to keep enjoying this game, I don't care if you put them back in YC or coins, as long as they are available....
Having this items available in the store for all to have should NOT interfere with other people ability to collect their "precious" fashion items or one of a kind collectables.

MONEY, Money makes the world go around
The world go around
The world go around
Money makes the world go around
It makes the world go 'round.

A mark, a yen, a buck, or a pound
A buck or a pound
A buck or a pound
Is all that makes the world go around,
That clinking clanking sound
Can make the world go 'round............

And LACK of REAL MONEY coming in to the Company, can definitely make a company CEO change his/her mind if & when his/her company is running in the red......
This is from Greg Thomson ยป Wed Jul 02, 2014 4:23 pm, "Thank You To Our Supporters!!!!!", post.....
"When we decided to purchase YoWorld, we not only got a loan to cover the initial purchase price, we also have very large ongoing development/maintenance costs. In addition to the initial purchase price, our current monthly staff and server costs are in excess of $150,000/month. These are very real costs, and YoWorld is still in a position where we are losing money.
So, he NEVER said NEVER to that idea, he said UNLIKELY ..... there is a difference.

They also said that egypt spent 180$ which was .1% of there revenue ... so their revenue is around 180,000$ compared to their monthly expenditures not including loan payback of 150,000$ which is a very good return on their first month considering at that time they hadn't even released any of their own original items. So they aren't doing so bad.

And first statement was unlikely but last two statements were "No" there would be no rereleases of items. That being said I do think BVG should release a theme that stays in stores especially for decorators that has the basic needs for decorating.

yoworld.com wrote:Q: Will you be re-releasing specific items?

A: Unlikely, but we may create new variations of them.

Gary wrote:If the item was officially released previously and everyone had the opportunity to get it, then no. We know item rarity and value is very important to the players, and we respect that.

Viking John wrote:Hey everyone!

As it's been stated a few times in this thread quoting Gary's interview with YoRehab, if any item has officially been released by Zynga in the past we will not be putting it back into the game. Accidental releases such as the Menorah Hat are different, as they weren't an official release.

All of your 08 and 09 costumes, retro specks, and all the other valuable items that have been released before are not going to be re-released. As Gary mentioned, we understand the value of rare items and want to keep it that way.

If you see people posting 'rumor' threads about releases coming tomorrow or next week, if it's not a post from one of us then it's exactly that, a rumor!

I hope this helps clear things up for everyone!

Here is the progression of statements made by BVG concerning rereleases, if I missed any it would be great if someone could post it.

What do you want me to wait for? This is the game, I want to play it, if I can't do that, why should I support it.
I Like to finish my design with few things that were never rare or so called valuable (Grass tiles) and I can't...I also do not want to spend millions of coins on said grass tiles or wooden walls or flowers or fountains or anything that can help US - DECORATORS play this game, every day.
You can keep your bolts, rets, blushes and whatever also you want to put on your avatars, just let me decorate.
