I would like to see some of these being opened up, Zynga did re-releases so why not BVG? It would generate income for them, give them time to work on the new items and give players something extra to decorate with while we're waiting. I don't see a problem if it is just the closed themes in store, most are fairly recent themes. I think that a theme should only be re-released once though for a set period of time, say 2 weeks, and if it has already been re-released by Zynga it shouldn't be released again.

I missed many of these due to illness so I don't agree that everyone had a fair chance to get these items as some were released for such a short time and they are hard to find in game. I am getting so fed up of trawling round sale after sale and seeing the same old things or wasting precious Yo time hosting events to find just 1 item I need to finish a room. Not a rare or collectible item, just something ordinary and everyday like a particular bed or a table.

I don't think Collectibles should ever be re-released else they wouldn't be collectibles or the very early themes but everything else is just stuff. It's not rare or special but it would fill a gap for those of us who like to spend our time decorating and I'm pretty sure it would increase Yo Cash sales for BVG. Clothing and accessories see to be the items that gain most in value so there is probably no need to re-release these as there seem to be plenty from every theme already in the game, so people will still have valuable items from those themes to sell but the people who decorate need to have something too to keep an interest in the game.

is fairytale fantasy one of those displayed but removed?? is that what this is about?? because that's the hot right now and ppl want them???

Yes they may have made some fast yocash sells but guess what I'm sure over time they would have surpassed what they made by closing the themes. Zynga was purposely running the game into the ground and just became money hungry. They lost sight in how to keep their customers happy which in turn made it where a lot of paying customers left the game or just stop buy yocash. I spent around $600 on this game by the end 2010. I quit buying stuff after I was hacked and zynga did little to help me (myspace hack). I told myself that I wouldn't spend that kind of money with that company any more. Since December I have spent about $10. Only because their haven't been any themes other than luxury that I was interested in.

are you kidding??? people were belly aching because they wanted new stuff.. and boy oh boy were they happy to see all that pulled from the store!!! .. the ones in it for 'business'.. BOUGHT TONS.. the rest didn't...

but don't think was big bad zynga the mean kid on the block that was soooo bad lol... us players were happy to see those themes go... back then we could not even lay down on a bed...

I was not playing while the themes were removed from the store, but of course people were belly aching for new stuff. People always want new stuff Why would anyone want to have stuff removed? That is the question.. The ones that did a mass buy of yocash items were doing it for 2 reasons: 1. they were scared they would want to use one of items down the line and not have it available or 2. bought a bunch with the intent to sell it for a higher price later.

I'm not sure. I actually am not a fan of that theme, but I know others are. The argument here pretty much applies to any theme that was closed though.

I agree with everything you have said except they should be unlocked and not have a timer on them.

every year every theme gets older.. and to those that started in 2013.. that 2011 stuff is 'rare' .. and the players that will start in 2020, well, that stuff coming out in 2015, they be eating that stuff up like candy! ... I think it should be .. no releases, unless everything from day 1 gets released.. :)

I loved last years re-releases and I wish they would have done more I hope BVG do reconsider I bought a lot for millions and wouldn't care if they re-released all because I could get all the other items I have been wanting without spending millions and all proceeds would be with BVG instead of a greedy player anyway

You really shouldn't call people greedy just saying.

Greed can go both ways.

Those who don't want re-releases to "protect their pixel wealth" are greedy.
Those who want re-releases because they want it all handed to them on a silver platter without putting effort into it like other players are also greedy.

I don't understand why they won't just get rid of the Ghost Themes. They take up too much space in the stores.

Exactly and if i'm classified as greedy for wanting to keep my pixel worth that I've spent tons of money on and put a lot of time and effort into getting then I guess I am greedy. That's how I play the game to collect. And that's a big part of the game for many.

I'm not seeing the correlation of the second one as being greedy nor being handed to someone on a silver platter. If you recall when you started out playing this game, you had to go to work in the factory and do little things here and there to make and save money. Then eventually you could save up to buy anything you wanted from the themes in the store. No themes were removed and everyone got an equal chance at owning these items except for collectibles. When hackers began to take over and bring in boocoodles amount of money and Zynga started removing themes then there started to be a huge shift in the game and it turned into a unequal chance at the game.

I'm sorry, but if they start re-releasing everything like zynga did then I will quit, again, because there will be no point to the game.
