I wonder if they refer to their own produced items and not counting the unreleased released items. Dunno, I have to see the rest of the theme to see if they keep their word or not but so far I'm happy. Though word can be changed to suit their situation which truly won't know unless we have access to their bean counting (their statistics on sales, demographics, trends etc).

But they implied that they would TRY to make it work like this.

They are meant to be priced as such so not everyone can buy EVERYTHING. If everything is priced too cheaply then everyone in game will look the same. In the real world we cant buy everything. I do think 50 yocash for a crown was absurd. I dont get why tiaras with different colours are priced differently. Once an item is made changing its colour doesn't take much effort.
I do think its time to start issuing more ways to earn coins. Not everyone in game made BILLIONS and new players are stuffed really.

dude myspace closed gaming... if you had a account there that stuff is gone.

They are expensive, I agree. Especially for costumes that you really can't do much else with or even accessorize. But I think the status of them as formerly unreleased makes all bets off with pricing on these items.

But it isnt only the unreleased, their snowman handheld thing was 19 yocash and they made it

I would agree. Until they do create new ways to earn coins, they would be wise to lower the coin prices. We want to bring new players in, not drive them away.

i think they are good for the price, full costumes for 9/19yc is a good deal imo
i think once things settle down and they get into a routine and things are sorted prices will be more stable

Here is the way I see it. You definitely have a point with the coin item released this go around, they are rather pricey and for a new comer that is quite unattainable for a while unless they are taken under the wing of a more seasoned player. So I do think some of the coin items should be lowered a bit for all to enjoy.

As for the yocash items, yocash is what generates their revenue, so I can understand asking more of a premium on some of those items. One does not need to get one in every color. Simply choose one or two you like the best and get them. If you look at the 19yocash Medusa Costume, you are getting a lot with that 19 yocash. Granted, it is not interchangeable which turns some off, but you're getting a hair, a hat, eyes and lips which would all normally be yocash under Zynga. Hair alone would have been 18 yocash. I don't know how many times I've seen players say to release one piece costumes again like they did in 08 and even exclaimed they would be willing to pay yocash for them... Well, here they have done just that and people aren't happy.

I myself enjoy mixing and matching items so single pieces are more my forte, I might pick up the Medusa anyway because it's a loud piece and I might enjoy having it in the future. I don't mind paying the 19 yocash for it because I see what it includes.

So, while I see your point, I can also see where BVG is coming from. Give them some time to get their feet planted solidly on the ground... In time, I think you will see it will even itself out. But you also have to be willing to have an open mind. When we fought for this game to saved, we had to learn to accept whatever that might mean. A different company means different policies. We will all learn to accept the new norm, we just have to be patient on the path there!
