and again, we must look at the gary pants as a perfect example.. was an accident they were released, was in stores for days... and was brought back .. the exact same scenario except the pants were available way longer... those are facts, play them anyway you want.. spin then turn them .. even try rearranging them.. it is what it is ...

BVG said they wouldn't re-release and I don't think they should make an exception for short-time released items.

ya.. shame the gary pants (which is the exact same circumstance and celtic cross) were re released after the accident of putting in the store (left for days as opposed to minutes, like the celtic cross)

Yes, the gary pants were re-released. However, BVG stated that they would release them IF they were pricejacked. That is exactly what happened. The celtic cross has been out of the stores in excess of five years now, its price is a reflection of the combination of an older item and a short time release. BVG also stated they understand the value and rarity of our items..

Some accidentals were out for a minute so I doubt many people got the chance to buy them, most of the accidentals and unreleased items that were in the game were modded in.

The thing is bvg stated they'll have their own limited number items, which means not everyone will get a chance to get it. Same thing as short time released in my opinion. So if they release anything that was put in stores no matter for how long. It's considered a re-release. Whatever they do they do but this is just my opinion on it.

Accidental release means that it was at one point released, but it was unofficial/unintentional.

I almost totally agree with you Anthony! :D We have dubbed items that were pulled from the store as "accidental" releases. However, items such as the celtic cross were a completely intentional release. When they received the outcry from players, it was pulled.

Bubble Machine was an accidental release? I thought it was just an 08 Collectible. Or was it an accidental release 08 Collectible?

I am quoting this comment in response to your previous one as well. I hope I'm not coming across as rude or angry. I'm completely chill when replying to your comments and don't intend to be perceived as hostile. In response to your comment of them being "modded into the game", does anyone remember when almost every big ticket item was being refunded through Zynga? Getting refunded through support was rampant. It happened with collectibles, costumes, and so many other rares... It became so difficult to actually find an "original" costume or collectible over a "refunded" one..

I always thought it was an unreleased item. I'm not really sure though.

Now, to be honest with you, no one here really knows if the Celtic Cross was intentional or unintentional. Now, if it were released once more, we would be able to assume that it was accidental.

I don't think people should be labeling items as accidental or official at all, as we do not know the truth. Only Zynga and BVG do. This item could have been accidental, it could have been official.

Also, I am not saying the Cross was accidental, but how could it be official if back then Zynga was way too strict on religious items? Sure they opened up more over the years, but we are talking about 2009/08, not 2010-2013.

I said that because I don't want to come across that way, tone is something than can be misconstrued with writing is all. :) I have played since 2009 as well, and that what I had always heard by word of mouth. I suppose it would be an assumption, considering everyone who claimed that back then and myself did not work for Zynga.

I know that this is only hearsay too but a friend of mine that played way back in 09. I think he started in 08 though. He quit to get married and he gave all his items away to friends. He gave me his Celtic Cross anyways he also told me that the cross was put in store and pulled out due to religious reasons. I do know he told me he bought his in the store. You would think someone else that played at that time would be around to verify this but who knows.
