While it's nice to see old faces around, the game needs new players. If you were in charge of marketing at Big Viking Games, what would you do to try to make the game more popular?
I'd personally focus on other platforms, such as Twitter and Instagram, and try to recruit new players from those sites and push them to use their Facebook accounts to play YoWorld. If BVG has a large marketing budget, they could also air commercials - imagine if you saw one that said ''Are you a loner, come join YoWorld today. The only place where insane people can feel normal.'' Yeah, that's a bad idea but you get the idea.
What'd you suggest that BVG do?

And then they go to the factory and get their 300 coins, do some maths and find out it will take them about 2 years to buy a bowl of strawberries.
Would you play that game?

A lot of my friends that played always quit mainly for the same reason, the game was to expensive. That was mostly in 2010. They would flip if they saw the price of things now! Could you imagine for someone new how ridiculous the prices of some items are. I think at best all we can hope for is that some of the older players that quit may decide to come back and give it another shot. Someone familiar with the nature of the beast we call Yoworld.LOL
