I want one so bad. I had one, and then I quit Yo and closed my FB account... when I restarted last year, I tried to get one but no dice. I'm so sad! I loved that cat. :-(

I have one of these, it shows up in my inventory as a starter item rather than a free gift.They came out I think when Z was giving us free trial pets to look after for a few weeks then you'd get the option to buy them. Most of them would just pouf when the time was up but for some reason we got to keep one of these. They were made not tradeable to prevent the free ones from being passed off as the pretty much identical expensive store bought yocash ones. I doubt these will or should be made tradeable, there probably are still the tradeable ones in game. Mine was a nuisance, I put him back in my inventory!

Why should it not be trade-able? If doesn't affect the coding then surely those who own them, have the right to make money from them, no? I've never heard about the ones that we supposedly have in game. As far as I knew, the only ones we had were the un-trade-able ones..

I've had over 5 at some point and they are tradeable. Just have the one I don't sell right now but it would be unfair. It was given by Zynga which is fine but Purple Striped Cat was yocash. That's like you paying yocash for retros now (example) and they make free gifts ones tradeable again. While you spent cash for yours, the other did not and would still profit. If it is a gift then it should stay that way.

In your previous post the price difference wasn't explained, but this does make sense. If the ones we own were not paid for and the others were, then making them trade-able would be unfair to those who DID pay for them. Thanks for explaining that. :mrgreen:

it just depends on whether or not the cat was bought in store or i guess when they did that free giveaway like in '09 or '10 where u get so many friends to help u and u get that cat

I have 3 or 4 of those cats, all non tradable as far as I know. I would love to give one away, but I guess they have to stay, haven't the heart to just delete them. Along with those there are black panthers (1), the fluffy tan cat (2), rabbit (2) and a puppy, all Zynga gifts and not traceable. My Pet food bill is ridiculous not mention all the pet hair (sneeze).

The Purple Striped Cat is tradable, the jester cat was a free gift and isn't tradable
