It's ignorant for sure that someone would act like that, but why let them have that kind of power over you and the way you feel? That person clearly isn't worth it.

I agree but throuhgout my life i have rarely dealt with such criticism, my life tends to be peaceful except for this passed year.. It's rare for me to encounter something like this so i usually have no idea how to handle it.. So it just brings me down...Waaay down, to ground level even.

It is their own insecurities and failings that make people do this. I know it's easier said than done but try not to own their issues. Just work on being fabulous.

Yoworld is a copy of the real world. There are obvious differences but as long as real people are dealing with real people you'll have that. Specially behind a monitor where it'seasy to bash on anybody and don't even realize the damage that you could be doing.

I apologize if this will sound mean but.. NOTHING should cause you to even contemplate suicide for even a brief moment. NOTHING. coming from someone who has faced a traumatic death experience, life is a gift. You shouldn't let anyone or anything take it from you.

Being taunted and abused in a public place is one thing but having it done to you in a game is different. These people can't see you. They don't know who you are or what you look like or anything about you. It's pretty likely that if there had been another person there instead of you, they would have gotten picked on too.
Anyone who is stupid enough to sit behind a computer screen and talk crap really isn't worth your time or concern. I really don't get how so many players get "hurt" in a game. Anything said to you is totally meaningless. People come here and complain about getting kicked or any other number of things and it REALLY DOESN'T MATTER........it's a game and 90% of the taunters and bully's are only doing it because they CAN and they know no one can do anything about it. Let it go. Forget it. The best thing to do is poof and don't let it bother you.
They can call you names, call you fat call you ugly, call you a million different things, and the truth of the matter is they have no idea if you are fat or skinny, black or white or purple, old or young, etccc......they are just trying to push buttons and when you let them, they win.

2. I know it's a game but it is still a form of harassment or bullying.

Jordo...Slum isnt saying that it doesnt happen, he is saying that people shouldnt let it happen. Yes words can hurt but people need to remember they are just words and life is precious.
