I stopped giving nice things to people only friends. I've been scammed by the "I'm poor" crap too many times

But if i go to an event like that I'll gift them freebies or things worth only a few coins hehe

They are rotten, spoiled brats. There are many selfish players out there I don't trust anyone.

So sorry that happened to you.
I stopped trying to help people when they started kicking me out
after helping them, and some would start messaging me and asking for more.
I think those are the ones who have an alt account. I can't believe that a real
new player would be that ignorant. :(

Are you absolute certain this person didn't accidentally kick you out? I play on a laptop mostly and sometimes my mouse will jump when interacting with players, and when I meant to trade them or do another action, I have accidentally kicked them out (it was usually a family member so they found it humourous, but still). Not everyone's hands are as steady as a young pups. I'm surely not in disbelief of you or what happened, but it is perfectly common (for me, anyways) My mouse hates me sometimes.

Anyways, something to think about before you allow someone to change the way that YOU enjoy playing. They are only pixels, mate. Don't allow a jumbled mess of squares turn you into something cold and jaded. May you rule your day!!! :)

I did this today.

It was a beginner i suppose , since she has like one of the first badges...

And i gave her an hair (20K ones) , a pair of eyes , handheld and shoes.

Just when i said ''look into ur giftbox :)'' , and she looked she just kicked me.

Show some simpathy , beggers/beginners. -.-

I am so sorry this happened to you. I know how you feel. Back in about 2010 I went on this mode of going to the apartments of people who are new and leaving a bunch of starter things for them. I loved being a sort of secret Santa. One day one of them left a lol message for me in return and I figured out that not all these people were actually new. I never did it again, especially knowing that if I left a gift they could find me back. Over the years it really kept me from leaving messages for people.... even on tours.

Sorry to hear that happened to you.
There are still genuine players out there, but it does seem like the begging has been increased lately, and some of those people are quite mean.

I think you are full of it!!! generally people like you, that gift, even if something like this happens to you, you will tend to 'be yourself' ... so I think you will again gift people, and I truly hope this never happens again to you....it sucks for for sure, but, there are a boatload of great people in the game... :)

There are too many dishonest people on this game. It's getting harder and harder to find genuine people who actually appreciate the items people give them. So many people work hard for what they have and we give stuff away for free and ask for nothing more than an honest "Thank you".

that is very true..... most times I only give things to people that I know will use them, get enjoyment from them .. like deco items.. I go to someones place and sometimes offer an item to them that I think might 'fit' well into the room or theme they have going... knowing they will get full enjoyment out of it, for me , adds more value than the item is worth ..

too many people focus on the money aspect of the game... I myself, mostly wear 400 coin swim trunks and go shirtless lol...

it's not about the money, money, money ...

I have learned that anyone making an event looking for help are NOT new people. After all it took me and everyone I knew who were genuinely new to game several months to learn about making events for buying/selling/ etc. I really truly do not believe a new person is going to make an event asking for new stuff or for coins or help. They will most likely be found standing at Altons (like i was and my family and friends who were also new) looking lost and confused and being somewhat quietish haha. :D

so true! ... when I first started I bought a few things, decorated my apartment a bit.. then went to altons, I was asking people around me .." what's the point of this game?? I have bought things, placed them down, now what??"

I really had no idea what I was suppose to do ... someone gifted me a paintable egg.. I placed it in my livingroom, but it didn't match anything I had bought, so I gave it away... later finding out, and I mean much later, that we could draw on them.. I nearly flipped.. now, I have over 100 eggs ;). ..lol...

Yes exactly! True new players are lost and tooooo busy trying to figure out the game than instantly learning how to post in events to get "help". LOL

I hear ya on the eggs. I have about 50 of them myself just sitting collecting dust. lol But when I was new, someone gave me a pair of pink retros as they were quitting the game. As courteous as I was about the gift and very thankful, I thought they were the ugliest thing I have ever seen. I just don't do pink. I seen an aquaintance looking for a pair and I gifted them onwards. And although I still do not desire a pair of pink retros... those coins I could have now would be awesomeeeeeeeeeeeee. lol Live and learn...

So how many of these events claiming to be new players do you think are professional noobs? You know, like the guy that bums downtown that brings in 250k a year. I saw one of the old TAI members on the street the other day. I used to be so and so from TAI but I got banned and this is my new account blah blah blah trying to get all buddy buddy with me like I respect that. Sure, let me break out the gold card... I just RF.
