Um how do you pronounce that?
This:
Lovecraft transcribed the pronunciation of Cthulhu as "Khlûl'hu" and said that "the first syllable [of Khlûl'-hloo is] pronounced gutturally and very thickly. The u is about like that in full; and the first syllable is not unlike klul in sound, hence the h represents the guttural thickness."[2] S. T. Joshi points out, however, that Lovecraft gave several differing pronunciations on different occasions.[3] According to Lovecraft, this is merely the closest that the human vocal apparatus can come to reproducing the syllables of an alien language.[4]
and I still don't know........
Haha me either
I think its [Ku-Thoo-Loo]
I just realized that there was an original pronunciation. But it was nearly impossible for any human to speak it due to the fact that this word was not created for the human tongue, and was created to sound alien.
So now many people pronounce it like what I mentioned above, Ku-thoo-loo.
