if the yocash buying players buy enough yocash and keep the rate low enough so that the coin earning player can earn for free enough coins to get every yocash item, then yes, the game may survive

So the game will be exclusive to those who will buy yocash constantly. Not alot of yocash because they are only buying for themselves. Only a few will play. 5-10 percent of what play now. Less players to spread the word and bring in more paying players. And you want them lower yocash price even more. Seems like shooting themselves on foot.

This thread is a nightmare of illogical and disjointed idiocracy.

There are some players who feel that buying yo cash as 'support' for BVG is a glorious contribution. Good for them. It is their money and if they want to use it in a salad I could care less.

BVG can have mine when I get something in return. If they shut the doors because they can't come up with stuff enough of us want to buy, so be it. I promise I won't be down at Sears handing them some cash when they file Chapter 11 next year. I like Craftsman products well enough, but obviously not enough people like Sears stuff. Buh bye

If you are looking for a medal from me for supporting BVG, you'll be looking until your eyeballs fall out. ;)

ya.. I think the word 'support' has to go.. they are a business.. not a charity.. but we cannot forget that people did cry for them to save the game.. would that happen to sears?? .. when I was a young man I worked for a company that made both mastercraft (canadian tire brand) and craftsman (sears brand) .. same parts, just different colored housings ;P

You might like what she says now but I remember how you spoke about your badge that first day and how many rights it gave you since you were better than a "freeloader". I toldyou that day and I say it again, I never forget. You have been one of the people that have treated players who don't pay like they are worthless. Either you didn't read the post or you changed overnight and nobody changes overnight.

Can you please not start an argument. I understood my wrong-doing. I'll keep my opinions to myself. No need to attack me. Ty.

Ooo sorry, I misunderstood. So you can hide your badge but it still shows the "supporter" bit....
well that's useless, innit?

Not useless at all. Its my business only, exactly how much I choose to spend on this game,

I understand what you meant by "useless". I'm glad no one knows if I'm bronze, silver or gold but
I'd be even more glad if the entire badge was gone. It's useless for the purposes of trying to
support a world of equality but breaking us into castes but I'm hoping for more equality for all players.

I consider it a badge of honor towards a company that saved my favorite game

I dont need Yocash....I do quite well selling items in AH for Yocash and am close to 2000 Yo

But I will never go below a Silver supporter....this game provides me with hours of stress free enjoyment and if they need support to cover their costs...I pay willingly knowing I dont have to drive home from a night of enjoyment impaired....can sit here and play with friends in my underwear if I wish and can totally destress by decorating a home

If 25% of active players spent 5 bucks a month on yocash.....BVG would have the ability to hire more customer service and take care of the backlog of tickets......a service Zynga never did....they took our money and it went to funding Mark Pincus' exotic lifestyle as he fired long time employees

Hate all you want on me....I really dont care

There is more than one way to support the game.

Without such a loyal fan base, YoWorld would probably not even be here today. According to BVG, only 5% of the game financially supports it. But I don't think it was only those 5%, who fought to save the game, just a few months ago. If it was not for the big community effort, this game would probably not be here today.

Everyone is needed to keep this community alive, and in order to help this game live on.

All I know is that the game won't survive with only 5% playership investing in the game...it is not feasible. That makes no one better than anyone else but it is the bottom line....no matter how many yo cash items are purchased with coins it does not go to BVG and we also have to realize that many dealers get their cash from AH and don't actually pay for it. This issue is not about one group being better than the other...it is economics and really.....I am buying in hope that BVG does well with it and because this is the last chance we have to save our game...I think one thing we all have in common is that we love this game and want it to stay so its hard not to hope that more people will invest. When people have to choose between food and a game the choice is very clear...as it should be....in the end though...this subject and any other subject will not be an issue if the game is shut down due to lack of revenue and the reasons for or against buying cash will not matter.

Actually it does. I buy about 600 yc per week for OTHER people.
If I were just buying for myself it would probably be way less
than 300 per month.

Well...considering that most people cannot afford to spend 400 per month on yocash I would guess your scenario is more of an exception than the norm.....there are many more dealers earning yc from auction house than there are spending those amounts on cash ...I would bet on that.

I didn't take the time to read all the comments, but to be honest, I haven't seen any issues about the badges since the dust started to settle. Just let it all be. We're all going to turn various colors or not as the weeks go by. Everyone seems to be used to them. Let's move on.

ps: I wish we can turn them off completely, but I'm moving on....

yes, they are a business, and they need to make money to be a business...

Pretty much no yocash sales = no game!

I would be glad if it was gone altogether, too. Im not a fan of them. :)

But I do understand why they want them there too, and it was never about equality.

Well said.

I do thank the ones who pay for the game, but some people took their badge too far as if it meant they were superior to others. I get it, you helped pay for the game, I can see it already. If I can't afford or don't want to spend money I shouldn't be pressured or degraded for not doing so. And I like to see this coming from someone with a badge.

Thanks for posting this and thanks for your support to the game.
