Sooo we have had our share of unreleased items, what about accidental? I remember you guys saying that items that were hacked into the game, or items that not everybody had a chance to get, would be brought back into the game. We haven't seen ANY of the accidental release stuff... Just some food for though

Ohhh the bubble machine,Celtic cross, and the color tiles would be fantastic with the teen bed. Some of these accidental releases have already been released like white jeans and mohagany bed. So they proabably would do more in the future

As far as I know, Yorehab has unreleased & accidental releases together in a section. Actual short-time/accidental releases are spring daffodils, celtic cross, 50s cat clock, and others. Players had the opportunity to buy these or at least get them at a decent price soon after they were pulled so I don't think they should re-released.

BVG said they wouldn't re-release and I don't think they should make an exception for short-time released items.

Unreleased means it has never been released in the game but only by hackers.
Accidental release means it was released in the game for a short time.

I read that BVG may incorporate "limited items" into the stores. This way, only a certain number of a single item could be sold. Depending on the quantity that they set as the limit, it is possible that not everyone will have a chance to buy the "limited item". How would this be any different than an "accidental release" that was in the stores for a few hours, days, etc.? People had the chance to purchase these "accidental releases", unlike those of the menorah, lime green jeans, retro crowns etc. With this being said, I think that BVG needs to leave these items alone. They were released, ergo they would be re-releasing them.

Yea, I have both the Cheshire Cat costumes for a long time before I new one was an accident. Just in the store on the right day.

It's fine with me for them to put it all back.

Yep..I agree with this. If they release any item that was already in stores. It will be considered a re-release.

Many disagree and agree with what I'm about to say, but I don't care really.

I wasn''t around when this happened but based off a pretty big chunk of replies I have seen, the Menorah hat was in the store or somehow was available for purchase for a very short amount of time before being removed. Don't attack me but I've seen people on here say that they seen the timer go down on it, others say it was never in store at all. If it was, then this is a accidental release

I'm not one to attack other players, and I've also seen some people claim that the menorah hat was available on yoville.com for a few seconds or minutes. I believe BVG said something along the lines of "If the item had a proper release, it would not be released again". Items like the spring daffodils, short and long decks, and celtic cross were actually available in the furniture store or yo depot. This is yielded by a "proper" release. If the menorah hat, as others have claimed, was only available on yoville.com and not the clothing store, this is obviously not a "proper" release. This is why I believe the menorah hat was released or re-released, whichever one floats your boat.

the celtic cross.. was released by accident for about 20-30 minutes... majority of the crosses in the game are not legit crosses... bubble machine has never been in the game officially ...

ya.. shame the gary pants (which is the exact same circumstance and celtic cross) were re released after the accident of putting in the store (left for days as opposed to minutes, like the celtic cross)

However, I've seen old players' recollections vary anywhere from minutes to hours. Regardless, it was a proper release. People had the opportunity to purchase it by visiting the furniture store. Not everyone is going to have the chance to buy everything, which will be the same way with the "limited item" concept that I've read about somewhere on the forums. This is solely my opinion, and I'm trying to express it instead of forcing it on anyone.

Bvg did state that no re-releases to any items from zynga....but in Garys Q&A yesterday...he stated that they might take things out of the store but they also might like to put them back in at some point. So the gary pants might be an example of that. So i'm just saying that they may re-release their own items. I'm hoping they have regular collectibles that never come back....furniture and clothing.

no.. that is wrong.. not everyone had the chance.. time zones alone makes that statement false! .. but, it was an accident... therefore, proper release, doesn't fit the description.. sorry

I totally agree

Unreleased means that it was never released into the game at all.

Accidental release means that it was at one point released, but it was unofficial/unintentional.
