I have been playing this game for 6 years almost, been friends with players for probably over 4. i never got involved in the whole social thing in game. It was only when i got to the forums that I made friends and then added them on facebook. It was a different forum back then, when the wishlist was the big social hub and it was all one big forum...
I have a lot of you on facebook now and i have realized that when you need a lift or words of encouragement, or just a silly message to make you laugh... the Yo crowd nails it. You guys are the first in and the most supportive people!! Now, I dont always get on with all of you in here, but I see the same support here among friends.... So thank you Yo people for being awesome. Now, i am going to let silly, cynical Snorty back out of the cell.. I just wanted to say that.

What??? Who wrote that?? Oh god, someone let mushy Snorty out of the back room, didnt they?? Oh well... I better go get the duct tape again.....

True stuff. I have seen other forum communities for other games. and I can tell you there is something special about this game's community that is different and in a field of it's own, in many ways. A lot of other forums are all about *just* the game. The Yo Forum is like a legit online community and the discussions go everywhere and everywhere. It's hard to explain. but I get ya. Yo and it's forum community/ game community is unique for some reason. This game is like a social networking site all on it's own next to FB and twitter etc etc.... IMO

It's so true...the friends I too have made through this game are always there to give me the lift I need when I'm not feeling well, or just feeling icky overall.
I love that this game has given us the opportunity to meet such amazing people...from all over the world.

Hugs and kisses to you Snorty!! xoxox

Yeah. I think our ability of expression in this game is so diverse, too. Not a lot of games have this many items in game to wear or build with. It makes the diverse really thrive here. The people behind the toon are more responsive, more personal, and more unique - and that is able to come across on ourselves. In other games it's not usually about that. and there usually isn't a strong outlet to portray yourself in other games. but in this one there really is. Let alone the bonds and friendships that sprout.
