They need to remove this because there not making any kind of profit taking some coins off people selling items in AH when they sold an item

I've never understood why Zynga started charging a percentage in the AH.
It's not like the money goes anywhere or serves a purpose.
And it's kinda steep. I sold something at 100K and only got 88K in my bank for it.
This deffo needs to be looked at and adjusted.
Perhaps it can go into a weekly or monthly lottery or something.

Pretty dumb. not like they make a profit off of virtual coins. just leads to higher prices as that 10% always adding up.

It's a fee to use the service.
I never really got the mentality behind it though.

All real life AH charge a percentage.

For the game, I look at it like it's just a convenience charge.

I think that it was originally done so that people don't abandon the original ways of trading. What if one had the ability to sell all of of their items through the AH and earn everything they asked for it? One would stop creating events to host sales, right? One would move to selling through the AH.

I think its so that some people still sell through events.

Yep, makes no sense right? I mean, really, we are charged when we buy the item, and then again when we sell the item? :? 10% is way steep, and THAT my friends is why most people I know
started selling their items higher in the AU. And that is why I will be selling directly to people as much as I can - all the profit is MINE!!!!

Hmmm? If you "only got 88K" they took more than 10% of your 100K.
