Get ready to embrace your romantic side... because we’re holding a Valentine's Day Player Design Contest!



Designers of all skill levels are welcome to submit any original designs (no photo reference images) for the following categories:

• Women's Hairstyles
• Men's Hairstyles
• Women's Outfits
• Men's Outfits
• Hats/Hair Accessories
• Yobers
• Handhelds
• Face Cases

NOTE: You may submit previously submitted designs (either for open call or a previous Design Contest) as long as they adhere to the new submission requirements, and you can submit as many designs in as many categories as you want!

***DO NOT submit the same item in multiple categories!***


ITEM-SPECIFIC SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Outfits: 6 UNIQUE items required
We encourage you to submit 3 color variants for each outfit, but this is not required

2. Hairs: 8-9 hairs required
6 solid-color/’regular’ variants
2-3 Rares (Depending on if you submit 8 or 9 hairs. For example, if you submit 8 hairs total, you only need 2 Rares. If you submit 9 hairs, you need 3 Rares).

3. Single items and Face Cases: no specific requirements


GENERAL CONTEST REQUIREMENTS:
• Please indicate which category you’re submitting for in the TITLE OF YOUR EMAIL (ex: ‘FEMALE OUTFIT’).
• In addition to any files you have, submissions MUST include a PNG of the full outfit / item in its entirety with either a WHITE background or TRANSPARENT background. We will likely make each image transparent in the voting poll, so keep that in mind.
- Please only include 1 color variant of your item or outfit in this image.
- For Hairs: DO NOT include a Rare hair as your model image; use a regular/common SOLID hair color (ex: solid brown, blonde, black, etc.).
- The PNG must have a model of some kind to showcase your design and how you want it to look on/with a Yo-Avatar (face or full-body, depending on the item(s)).
- Models must have NO faces or hair unless it is exclusively a face case design or hair design. Please only showcase the item(s) you’re submitting for the contest so it’s clear what YoFans are voting for.
- If you do not submit a PNG with these requirements, your submission cannot be considered for the contest.

*These requirements are for the purpose of making the contest as equal as possible for all Designer skill levels.


Design submissions are due no later than December 19th and must be sent in to [email protected].
**This is NOT an avatar/NPC contest. Please do NOT send us images of your YoWorld avatar.**

We will announce the winning designs in batches based on the theme they will be released during. Please join the YoWorld Discord if you'd like regular updates about the winning designs.

This contest will be voted on by YOU! When voting is active, the link to vote will become available in-game and announced on Discord.

There are no specific aesthetic requirements for this contest! Feel free to submit anything that embodies Valentine's Day to you! Looking forward to seeing your amazing designs!
