Howdy Folks!

Wow ok so I don't know about the rest of you guys but I had a super huge buddy list, although a vast portion of this list was people I have befriended to trade with and just left on the list.

Anyways since BVG have had the game I've noticed that when I first load the game, before the buddy list had chance to load, I was super speedy. The list would then load and BAM I'm back to walking through sticky mud...sooooo slow! (Even though I never stay online on the buddy list as this was total freeze city)

So I went on a cull, big time, now just down to my FB friends.

WOW!! My Avi is now so quick its ridiculous

like my Avi has had an all out blow out on Redbull (or other brand energy drinks lol) and is now super charged! Events load quickly, heck EVERYTHING loads quickly (well apart form furniture store but that's not surprising being that the last time it had a clean out was at least 4 years ago!)

It took a lot of clicking and some savage wrist ache but hey if any of you, like me, thought it wouldn't make it much better and that's just the "Game Lag" I advise you to get deleting and enjoy the blur of your super charged super speedy Avi

Crazy Loads Robot, but then I've played for quite a long time on and off (since 08) and I never made and effort to clean up my list!

This is probably super old news to some, if not most, folks but I figured if I overlooked it someone else might of too

I have a huge Bl, BVG said they will fix the lag from it this week, so you deleted them for nothing :X.

lol @ kraze, why wait is my answer

Im sure BVG will sort it and when they do I will safely add away again but for now im happy as a cat with its catnip so it was worth it for me!

I haven't heard this before - thanks for posting, I'll give it a try! ( I always thought the lag was from all the wallpaper and floors I carry around with me.)

Another way to speed up game play is delete everything in inventory you haven't used in 3 months or if its for a theme put in a house. clears out lag and makes trade alot faster. (:

I have a lot of YoWorld neighbors so my buddy list still freezes even if I delete those who are not my neighbors..

wow I thought by turning off my buddy list I wouldn't have the lag... I will go do this right now. I hope I don't delete my friends because I do like to visit them but trading is a nightmare with this lag..

I deleted a bunch of people too and it helped with the lag also , now need to empty my inventory

I assumed this for years lol, if you don't mind clearing off your list I would do so and see if it works for you

OMG! I almost fainted at that word "delete". As a hoarder for all those houses I have planned and just not accomplished, I cringe at the word. It takes a lot to sell back gray carpet and beige walls. :shock:

*edited to say: I also hoard when I find cute stuff cheap to share with others.
