I played IMVU some of their graphics are just horrid. They all have their own problems and good points.
I too love the cartoonish feel to the game and our Avatars.
It is a much more fun palette to decorate and dress. Like a me in characture. And I love it.
Personally I'd LOVE to wear ANYTHING in my wardrobe closet in game without any embarassment at all.
In fact I have a lot of similar to pieces in my own closet that I've bought for Avatar to strut around in, things like a Mad Hatter's Hat, and lots of the Halloween pieces. I try to dress my Avartar up only in things I'd wear in real life. I'd love to open up my real closet and give some ideas for new items to add. I dress Whimsically in real life to put a smile on my face and on others seeing me...And most of the time, I accomplish just that!
One suggestion to add to my wardrobe are wild socks and hosery. I am never finished dressing until I have something outrageous showing on my legs and feet, LOL. Most often I match my outfit to the wild tights or socks I happen to fancy each day. So I can say I dress from the feet up, LOL
No guns in my game wardrobe either. I'm a conscious objector. Bow and arrow is my most dangerous item I have..
Although I respect your opinion about making the game more realistic, reality is highly over rated to me. I like to inject as much fantasy and play into my life to make it as surreal as I can. Keep the toons, LOL I love em.
