So, I have a question for you all. I have noticed that right under our avatars is our join date. Yet that date can be wrong. The question I have is how did you hear about YoWorld (Yoville at the time)? What made you want to play and keep playing?

For me I started in 2009, and was using my main account until I switched 3 years later to my new facebook account that I am using now. I first heard about Yoville from a friend, he kept bugging me and bugging me to play with him, and at the time I thought the game looked silly and stupid. One day I gave in and started to play. When I first started my friend Mike told me that in order to get stuff you can do two things, Save up coins or buy Yocash (As Yocash was new to the game at the time). So I went and used my card to get 100 Yocash and bought myself some clothes and some furniture. And here I am 5 years later and still playing, funny thing is though. My friend, Mike, who got me into the game is now calling it stupid and pointless lol. But I will continue to support YoWorld and keep playing until the game runs into the dirt!

I started in the beginning on myspace.
My account messed up and I couldn't post events,or log into forums.
so I made this account, to log into forums to find a solution.. No solution. (Had this FB account already, and logged into game)
I left this account dormant until all my friends made me join FB.

I still come here because, even though I don't know ANY of you in reality, a certain few have went out of their way to understand this enigma.

Well, it was early 2009 I believe and I was on my PS3 playing Playstation Home. It's a game where you have an apartment and your own person and you can walk around. It's almost like YoVille just more realistic. You could move around furniture and stuff like that. Then, I went on MySpace and saw my friend post about YoVille. I tried it out, and I thought it was pretty cool. I was in love with it ever since. Then I decided to join on Facebook in 2011.

1) I first joined yoworld sometime in 2009 on myspace, at the time I was VERY young so had little interest in the game, and played for a few months. I rejoined in 2010, and my main focus at that time was foruming and pagents. I stayed for about 2 1/2 more years (somewhere in the middle of 2013) and then quit for a very long time (idk how long exactly) but then I came back :)

What keeps me playing at the moment is buying and selling, collecting, fashion, and the forums

Sony announced at E3 that PS Home will come to the PS4 sometime next year, I used to play that too, it really does remind me of YoWorld lol

Dont want to get off-topic but I had 6 houses, all fully customized, and was wearing a gold suit with money dropping from the arm sleeves and a King crown with gold pants and golden shoes lmao. When My ps3 died last year, I didn't want to spend 300 bucks to get it fixed when I could pay 400 to get a new PS4. But oh well, all the games I had I can play again when Playstation Now comes out July 31st

I gotta get off in a bit but before I go, one last thing, Sony announced a few months back that the PS3 will stop being supported in early 2015. Meaning you cant connect to PS Home, PS Now, Playstation Network for PS3 or any other form of Sony's service. Basically they want you to upgrade to a PS4. Only thing you will be able to do is play PS3 games that have single players

PS: Back on Topic now :P

My stepdaughter needed neighbors. Didn't play but a little forever because my mom was just starting to get bad with Alzheimer's. Once my mom was moved into assisted living it became my getaway each day for a while ( I was there everyday for hours at a time). She passed in Dec.'12 and I made a house for her with the things I know she would have liked.

Well I don't know when I joined exactly.. Because I started playing on myspace in around 2011, then I switched to facebook April 2012, and on November 2012 I moved my stuff to this account. What made me stay was my friend Penelope that I had for quite a long time.. And I was younger back then so I did some messed up stuff (not hacking or scamming) and we stopped talking. She was a great friend and if I never had met her I would've got bored of YoVille and stopped playing.. She doesn't play anymore so I can't apologize ..

Your story is sorta like mine..friends from work kept telling me I should play it. And I told them i'm not into those kind of games. And for a couple of months they kept asking me if I ever tried it. So finally I did and that was that lol
And the funny thing is they barley ever played it at all.

A long time friend sent me a request in 2009, I joined just to help her. It was fun, because we could socialize.Took me many months to care about buying clothing. I liked to decorate, dressing up seemed el stupido. I like to now though. It was my first game to play for after several years denying myself fun to finish school. So once the game addiction hit I spent many many hours playing. Would even go home for lunch just to make a factory run. :x

I so used to enjoy socializing in game, but now it is like......where is everyone??????? :?: :|
