Ok, So I am a complete fool for letting my excitement get the best of me. I won an item at an auction for a decent price. It was actually the 2nd item I bought from this player. Really sweet guy btw. Well when we went to trade I saw the item and I put my coins in but the trade got cancelled. So we tried again. This time I put my money in and I seen a check on his side with no coins in place. Now this is the part where I normally wait until I see the item however, I was under the impression that you can not trade without money or item being in the box. So I figured that it was just a glitch on my side and I couldn't see the item. (Again this guy was a nice player he did not seem like a scammer.)
So when I went to find the item it was nowhere to be found. I asked him about it and he said "add me and rf" So I did. Still no item. He left the auction and connected with me to see if I had the item and my inventory but sadly I didn't. Luckily he had another one to sell me. Was a bit higher than I paid but it's ok. I am not mad at him I am mad at myself for not waiting to see the item.

TL:DR Please make sure that if you are buying an item from someone, you verify it is in a trade box before checking your side

Sorry for the long read. Again I take FULL RESPONSIBILITY for not making a verification.I just wanted to bring to light that things CAN BE TRADED without the other person putting anything in. I submitted a ticket but I feel embarrassed about this whole ordeal seeing as how I know better.

Yeah I know trust me I KNOW. lol. I figured it was a glitch. There have been soooooo many times that i have tried to trade ppl and they tell me they don't see my items and it happens to others to. The guy really was cool about it. Like I said he sold me something else earlier in the auction that was like dirt cheap and he did not poof. Plus he was actively seeking me to see if I had the item in my invo. Normally ppl who scam dont care to track you down and buddy you ya know? But never know i guess.

See thats the difference between me and some other people , I would have stuck some coin back in along with the item to give some money back .. not sold the same item twice

I didn't understand well how he is the nice guy when he could be at fault BUT we don't know that. Thanks for the advice though.

I wouldn't have taken his money anyways. It was my fault not checking. Again, I really thought there was NO WAY you could trade an item without something in the box or money being put in. Apparently, that is not so.

You are right, I really don't know. I give ppl the benefit of the doubt though. Like I said he sought me out, had me buddy him. Rf like 3 times. I mean some one who scams normally poofs or hides, or blocks you, or whatever. But.. I could be wrong. Either way, my dumb butts fault.

It was the Geek keyboard. I had actually been looking for a seller forever and a year with no luck. This is kinda the main reason I bought the second on he had. I didn't think I would have any more luck finding that item again for a decent price.
