lmao I get up too tired to even make a list. I will listen to podcasts and that sometimes helps me get back to sleep-I just can't see me staying away say 3 am or even 5 am-my sleep is broken up but it always has been strange through the years with going back n forth to hospitals etc. I like to sleep with it pitch black dark so got me some sun blockers and room darkeners -I won't sleep with a mask-too many things run through my mind with one of those on haha!
I'm still looking for that skin so soft because I cannot stand those mosquitoes will letcha know when I do find it.
this would be me hahahaha!

Off topic but I went to a family reunion yesterday really just all us siblings that are left. My long lost brother that we found when I was in my early 30's wanted us all to get together one last time since we're all getting old 65 the youngest to 80 the oldest .I wasn't going to go because I have such a hard time getting around because my hips are bone on bone and need replacing and I've been to scared to have it done. I'm so stiff I'm afraid to move because I'm afraid of falling .I'm seriously thinking about it though because I don't have much of a life the way I'm going now .I need to lose about 15 pounds first though so I'm trying. Anyhow now that I've bored you to death and don't know why I blurted this all out I'll just slink away :D

 Lindy-it's ok to blurt and share...I hope that 15 pounds comes off easy-try eating your 3 meals a day-and eat the same thing each meal-I know it sounds dumb but someone lost weight and I had asked and they said something about this and it worked to get their weight off.
I know about stiff-I make myself do some walking, even if it's to the corner-Dr says knee replacement or do the cortizone shots-so I'm going with the shots-it helps for a couple months esp when it is humid or going to rain but I need them cuz leg pain is so bad!

I use the cane but do have the walker-I am using the cane! I did sleep a fair bit,my body actually needs it so I cave in and let it rest-hope you feel better soon cuz it is hard to move when sore.

I live in Canada so not sure yet about skin so soft or avon-may need to just contact the company itself if there is an office in Canada

did some sig work and now im going to shower and go back to bed

Nothing wrong with blurting things out. I really hate going under so I understand it is scary. I will keep you in my prayers. That sucks I am so sorry! Dieting sucks too. I am a little ocd with my weight. I like to always be under 140 so here are some tricks. Jo right if you eat the same thing ie 2 hot dogs a meal every meal no snacks you will lose weight. No carbs works if I feel I need to lose a few quick. Intermitent fasting always worked the best for me. I pick a 6 hr window every 24 hrs and do not eat outside that window. I usu eat 1000 cals or less to lose weight. Keep in mind I am barley 5'2. I only need like 1400 a day to matain. I love chocolate protien shakes. 15 lbs will go fast for ya! Berries are low carb and watermelon for a treat. Just saying what helps me lol. Everyone is diff. I am a DD cup at 135 lbs so If I gain weight I feel way too top heavy lol. I am a little stricker than most and I do not want that surgery. Funny enough I have a really tiny bottom and everyone teases me lol. It all on top haha. I do think keeping my weight in check has prevented any back problems that may have occured as well. Trust I have a cheat day every wk and just eat whatever all day. Somehow all of that balances and I am able to stay around 135 140.

I haven't been online much lately because my dad has been in hospital for the last six weeks. He was suffering from kidney failure, but he's luckily turned a corner. He might be discharged this week.

I also have a new ragdoll kitten. His name is Moon and he's three months old. Look at the little munchkin.

 these kitty kittys, nom nom on the toe beans :)

How's your Dad doin since I was here last, has he been discharged? I hope so and I really hope he's doing better, you sound like a worried little daddys girl

SamiSpiffy23 (138400888) wrote:Heyyy PNKMxPepsiAddict :D Thank you so much for this contest. I didn't get to participate much in Snow's thread as busy irl. I hope to be able to take part in yours. Wow incredibly generous prizes. U seem/sound like sucha down to earth person and so friendly and chatty if I may say. :haha: :haha:

Well things are well on my end. Except mom fell a week ago and broke her hip. She's hospitalized. It's devastating as she was the one who was taking care of my father who is also total care and needs help as he had fell about two years ago and broke his hip too. I pray that mom makes a full recovery soon and can take care of my dad. In the meantime, my siblings and I are looking after dad currently while mom is a the hospital recuperating from her fall.

Thanks again for the contest and hope u have an amazing day!

Sami you're a doll, thank you for the compliments :) I do try to be the kinda person that never met a stranger, gets me in trouble sometimes though :haha:

How's your Mom and Dad? It's so wonderful that you have siblings and family that are so supportive. I thank God I have a huge supportive family as well, and I always feel bad for people that don't, esp only children, or people that have less than 5 siblings, lol My fam is Irish Catholic, I have 5 sisters and Mom used to say Dad flung too much "Elvis" on the 'rythym method' :haha:

JustJo (106622274) wrote:Oh Dalia I'm so sorry to hear about what you and your Dad and family have had to go through! It's great that he is on the mend especially with the kidney! Sami I know about your mom and was wondering if she had been discharged from hospital-that has to be rough especially since your Dad's fall-keep up the fantastic work of helping them both,I know it cannot be easy for anyone of you.
love those kitty pics Dalia-thanks for sharing!!
I'm on my way to the drs soon for my legs-they wanted to implant the gels but 350.00 a leg is too much for me -and that is at a discount. So doesn't look like that is a good option so am waiting to see what he says today.

On the other hand our weather has finally cooled off a bit-last week the temp with humidy reached and felt like 107F I couldn't do much with that. and wish healing Mom is waiting to do a road trip in the fall which will be exciting for us!!
:D I'm always in charge of snacks so I don't mind this part and it will be nice if the leaves begin to change as the trees are in abundance here and it's something to look forward to!

Oh goodness Jo! Are there no programs or anything where you are that can help? I know a lot of people don't like to do this but, try setting up a GoFundMe, and see if you can get the money you need for the implants! Your health and legs are worht too much, if you don't want to set it up ask a friend and I'll help you share it if you want!

Also I'm so sorry for the loss of your daughter, nothing worse, ever, at all, than a parent to outlive a child, I've done it twice, still have my oldest left, so I can empathize 100% percent sweetheart. She sounds like she was a beautiful soul and I'm glad you had her for the time you did.

My grandma Turns 83 tomorrow! My Mom was 63 on July 3rd. My oldest just turned 22. The time flies!
Grandpa had his bday yesterday but it was his first since he passed. I was only 18 when I got married and had my son but I am glad he got to know my grandparents thoughtout his life. I was truly blessed as they raised me like a daughter my whole life. My grammy in the nursing home dementia. I wish she could have stayed living with me but it got too dangerous for her. She triple up on meds and get violent. She likes where she is now finally and is close to me so I am happy. No one pays attention to my grandparents but me. It a shame but at least they had or have me. More than some have.

You're a wonderful Granddaughter! I loved my Grands too, I miss them so much. And YES, I worked in a nursing home when I was younger and you're right, a lot of them old folks don't have anyone, it's so sad. I'm glad you still see her, even if she doesn't remember you every time you go.

True tho after a day with no coffee and it into the next day I would be hard to talk to but I got a replacement pretty quickly lol.

I am glad you are getting some rest and on the mend but i'm sorry your sleep schedule is disrupted.

AHHHH I've not eaten much for a few days, now I want fried green tomatoes and I don't have any grrrr, lol. You're Italian?? Is it racist for me to ask if you can make sauce? lol Omg I would love to know how to make authentic italian red sauce. I could google it, but I would so much rather have the recipe and stuff from someone who is genuinely Italian! (hint hint lol) :D

LOL @ your comment - "I love a fresh baby lol" You know if someone made a cologne for guys that smelled like baby-head it would be a best seller, :haha: :haha:

Hallowqueen, congrats on heading back to school! My oldest is transferring with his AA to another school to get his BS. We're moving him in less than two weeks. My youngest is starting his senior year of high school so the application process is in full swing.

JustJo, family meals are the best. We used to get together with my parents every Sunday, but as the kids have gotten older and everyone has gotten busier, it's now about once a month. Though my brother and SIL moved closer so now they join us.

Dalia, you kitty is so precious! Love cats :cat:  Used to have two. Hubby and I are allergic but got allergy shorts during that time. My have to go back to shots and get another kitty when we are empty nesting.

If you're G, I'm H :haha:

I was into theater (school and community) and had a friend group that revolved around that. I also had another friend group where we would go to parties and clubs. Some drinking and smoking weed with that group. I also wasn't a true nerd but one of the smarter kids, consistently in the top 10% of my class.

Good Morning!
Oh I am sick today. I hope you are feeling better Pepsi!!
Why sick in August booooooo!
Oh I moved out at 14 and obtained a GED.
I was a nerd when I attended college to be a pharm tech.
I had a 4.0 the entire 2 yrs, was a student rep, ran the school store and tutored. I was 24 when I started with a newborn and 2 other kids. I just busted it out to me it was a lot of money lol.
I did smoke weed as a teen and now once in a while for my insomnia as I have a med card.
I really nerded out that first degree. I felt lucky to find enought time to attend at night and it cost a lot and many ppl that don't go to high school do not continune on. Here I am attending the U of Minn now! I was floored when they accepted me! I am sure working hard the first time with good transcripts helped.
Middle school I failed hard, I have dyslexia and adhd and no help then. It somewhat better as an adult. I just take a little longer but when it pounded in there I got it.
Blah blah have a wonderful day everyone!
Anyone has a sick movie recommendation or show lmk!
It gonna be boring lol.

I wanted to get into drama, my oldest sister was in it and they had so much fun! They out on plays and productions and skits and I was her mini-me (still am lol) So I got to help! BUT we moved to a teeny tiny town southern town before I got to high school and the drama class where we went, was more like english lit. We did nothing. After I graduated all the schools in the county got consilidated to one big county high school, and they had an amazing drama program. I was jealous lol.

WOW you're like Superwoman!! Amazing!! You've accomplished a lot with a lot of work and I'm sure more than a few years of near-sleep deprivation.

When I wasnt feeling well [past few days II binged watched my fav nerdy youtube channel lol The Why Files. Dude goes into stuff like, conspiracy theories and UFO stories and tells it like he believes it, then, he takes the last part of his video and debunks all of it lol. He has a gold fish for a side kick, Hecklefish lol.

Feel better quick hunni and sorry if you caught the 'ugh' from me!
