I collect pets and have a giant room full XD, I normally go to the pet fs events too but cause people dont really like pets so much it really depends how much you want them? I think the fact BVG has those crack boxes for pets dont really help either.
So generally people buy pets for 400k and under, people try to sell some pets for a couple mil.
I went to a sale where all the pets were 100k yesterday and bought a couple there like brucie ( 100k pets arent too common but i like to buy them cheap when i can)
I think i normally buy in bulk and average about 200k ish per pet
I think if they are out of the stores you can charge more but there arent too many pet collectors ( the pets fs events always run by the same people and they have the same pets every time, even when they are only 250k)
Its really difficult with pets and its a shame theres no auction house or "adoption center" to help with pet prices
If you arent in a rush to sell i say market them high and go down if no one buys?

I used to buy and sell pets for years, but have dropped out recently. So, these may be a little low, but will give you an idea. Calendar pets are very common and it's tough to get even the 100k, but who knows. And the event pets are pretty much the same, but a couple are more expensive, which I noted. The YMCA pets are generally very expensive.

The problem with pets is finding the buyer. A motivated buyer will overpay while everyone else either walks on by or tries to talk you down. Patience. They've been sitting there this long, what's a bit longer? Prices vary wildly by seller, and the competition is fierce. Your unique pets are your money makers. Hang tight for your price. Of course after several years you may want to reconsider your price may be too high. Or maybe it'll be just right by then.

Fair warning. These are made up out of the mind of one man. Not the gospel. K? Good luck Undecided...

And this is a list of not in store pets you may have missed in your inventory because they don't have the word "pet" in their name:

Oh. And when you go to sell, do yourself and everyone else a favor by limiting say 10 or less to a room. 5 is best. Also, if you uncheck Blackspace Walking in a room, then position a pet in the lower right corner so its tag is hidden, it'll stay in place and not wander. That's a nice touch if you want to use one in deco, but don't like it running amok...
