Hi, returning player here and I'm very out of touch with the way pricing works in YW now. We used to have things like yorehab and yopriceville that usually held accurate, up-to-date pricings on out of store items. I am completely out of the loop now. I know prices aren't what they used to be, so how would one find out how much certain items are going for?

There are no price guides, it's sort of a free for all. Best thing is the average AH price but even that can be wrong. Welcome back and good luck!

Price checks are done through word of mouth or by checking the auction house (AH) average. I wouldn’t say either of those options are totally reliable because there are players who take advantage of others, and the AH averages are constantly getting manipulated, but some idea is better than none lol.

So I recommend joining the fb trade groups for Yo (if you’re interested I can pm you some popular ones), otherwise you can try joining the official discord which has a buying/selling/price checking section. If you decide to do either option, you’d have to go to yoworld.info to make some templates when asking people to help you price check. After getting a price check, a tip for selling is to price your items higher than you normally would then gradually lower the price.
