Hi everyone. Please excuse my total lack of knowledge, as I'm extremely new. I feel like I don't know how to do anything, and I hate that feeling. LOL At the moment, my biggest question is regarding the new house I just bought. Am I going to lose all of the points/progress I made decorating that first apartment if I take out those items and use them in my new house? (I can't really afford to buy all new furniture for the new one.) I don't know if I'm asking in a way that makes sense, so maybe I should just ask if it's fine to switch the items from one house to another. Is it bad to have the original house/apartment empty? Thank you in advance for your help ... I appreciate it so much. I just wanted to clarify that even though it says I started playing in May 2016, that's not actually correct. I created an avatar back then, but never did anything else -at all. So I apologize if I end up being a pest with questions. Thanks so much!

Hi Brandi! Welcome to the forum!
No silly questions here! You won't lose points by moving any furniture back into your inventory, then putting them in another home. You just won't get the points "re using" them in another home. Hope that made sense!
I'll drop off some odds and ends for you to play with and decorate!
I have a bunch of empty homes. They were decorated years ago, and then I emptied them and made other homes!

I think I understand what you meant, but just to clarify - when you say I won't get the points for re-using an item in a new house, do you mean I won't be able to move up and complete levels re-using items? Or are you talking about more specific points? You may have noticed that I have a habit of over thinking things ... LOL. So please forgive me if I become a pest.

You are correct. If you use new items in another room or home, you would have already gotten your level up points from them. (you can see them in your inventory with a "new" banner on the pic) If you remove them to your invo and put them in another home, you won't get level up points again for those previously used items. Only new purchases give you the points.
Hope I explained that better! When I get time, I'll go through some more stuff I hoarded. Probably be mixed random items, but at some point hopefully you can find a place for them

no you wont lose points but the things placed, if old items will not render new points.
