As a newcomer, it's hard to figure YoWorld out as it is currently configured. Many features are not working at the moment, so much of the time I don't know if a feature is not working as it should, or I am not doing things correctly.

I have seventy-four friends on Facebook that play YoWorld, I have sixty of these friends showing at the bottom of my screen. (I thought these were Neighbors, but I am apparently wrong.)

In order to get my beginner promotion at the factory, I sent out the "get friends" notice. At first it was not working at all, then it would go out, but clicking on it would take you to a white screen. Now I don't know what is happening. I ended up buying three friends so that I can make a few coins.

Do my friends at the bottom of my screen need to do something or click something to become my "neighbors?"

And how about buddies? About a third of the people at the bottom of my screen show up also on my buddy list, along with the few that I have encountered in the game area who invite me to be a buddy.

I have good friends that I would like to communicate with. They are on the bottom of my screen. I can visit them but until I catch them when they are online, I can't send them a gift or message or a buddy invite. Nevermind the fact that one does not seem to ever receive credit for visiting friends. I would like to add them a buddies.

Am I going about this all wrong?

It is great that you are checking the game out, and yes, there are some features that are not working yet. BVG is taking care of the glitches and eventually, most will be fixed.

Anyway, I tried to answer the issues you encountered below:

There used to be a neighbor tab on top of the game screen - here you can send neighbor request to your fb friends and once they approve, they will be added to your neighbor list. I am not sure though if it is working now, since I am using my phone and I am at a layover at an airport so I cannot go in game to check

When you meet someone in game and you added each other as buddies and you are not FB friends,then yes, they will show up on your buddy list, along with your FB friends who play yoworld

I think that when you do coin runs by visiting buddies, even if you dont get a notification, the coins still go to your account. I might be wrong, but I remember receiving coins for visiting 20 people at the bottom of the game screen your FB friends playing yoworld are added to your buddy list and you can see them on the online list, unless they chose to go stealth mode

I can't get my real life friend, who also plays YoWorld, to get on my neighbor list and she just started playing 2 days ago and can't get any of us on hers either. None of us come up on her Add Friend list at all.

I can't either. We have the same friend that doesn't come up on my list as well.

They do not do a good job of telling you how to play on here. I have someone who wants neighbors and can't get any. What do I tell him?

Oh my gosh. I pay to feel sad right? I suppose I should answer your question. .. Maybe ask BVG in the help? You can still buy neighbors in the bank . the prices ares till cheap.

What does the budding tree do? Seems kinda pointless to me
