Most people, yes. that's how they get fast coins. with a 20k:1 or even 25k:1yo rate it adds up fast.

Other people have items from the very start of the game that over the years have gained value so sometimes they sell.

They sell popular items, it does not take long to get a million dollars if you can afford to buy yocash items and then resell for coins.
