What has made me smile today is a rather long thing to explain, but here goes.
2 weeks ago, someone who used to live next door to my husband and I messaged me on Facebook and said that her and her old man were moving back here. We had already explained to the manager who these people were and that they were druggies. The manager was supposed to be a friend of mine, so I thought she had thrown me under the bus with letting this person move back here. Needless to say, I was pretty furious but this person told me she would help me after surgery and, while she wasn't even on my top 10,000 list, I thought that if I were in dire need, it would be ok. Maybe she could take out my dogs or something like that.
Anyhow, on Monday, April 3rd, I'm scheduled to go in for my first hip replacement surgery (I'm pretty young for it, I'm 47 years old). Immediately, upon arriving here at the park (we are full-time RVers), this person began asking me if I would give her pain meds. I told her no, it was illegal but she wouldn't stop asking. I finally told her that they weren't giving me anymore so close to surgery. I had to lie about that and I hate lying...but daily, she would hound me and hound me. It was so bad that if I got in my truck to run to town for groceries, I would get a message asking if I was going to the doctor and if I had "anything good". I was over it!
This person tried to involve me in a mess of drama on Monday, March 27th. I wasn't even at home. I was at a medication appointment 40 miles away because I have to go on blood thinning medication for 6 weeks after surgery. She kept messaging and messaging and finally, my husband and I had enough. We told the manager if she wanted to kick her out, we were fine with that. We also let her know that this person had brought cocaine into the RV park, as well. I'm not cool with any of that crap.
I was talking to a mutual friend of the druggie and mine. This person told me that the druggie had messaged her and asked her if there were any spaces in the RV park she's at because the druggie would need a spot for a couple of nights, around April 1st, until she could leave the area. Everything fell right into place and made sense. She wasn't interested in helping me. She was only going to help for as long as it would take her to steal my pain medication and she was leaving. UGH!
The manager told her to get out on Tuesday, March 28th. She told her that she had two hours to leave because she brought drugs into the park. The druggie hooked up and pulled out.
I'm happy today because last night was the first night in two weeks that I got some good sound sleep. I didn't have to worry about waking up the next morning and fending off 47,000 questions of whether I had pain medication or not, I didn't have to worry about being drug into stupid drama.
It's a great feeling.
Sorry about the rambling vent...but I needed to get it off of my chest.
