I think we might have a thread like this already, but I'm not too sure.
Basically, if anyone likes reading, I'd love if you guys could give me some book recommendations. Also, if anyone want to talk about books, feel free

Some examples of books I like are:
Faceless by Alyssa Sheinmel
Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling
The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare
The 5th Wave by Rick Yancy
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

If you wanna know if I've read something, just ask  :nerd:

I'm back in school now, so I have a lot less spare time, but I'm trying to keep up with homework, forums, and reading :dizzy:

I would highly reccomend the Dorothy Must Die Series by Danielle Paige. Well written and beautiful plot lines. :D

I love reading too, but I am mostly into romance/teen fiction, mystery/thriller and dystopian novels. I would also reccomend:
- All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven
- Soulmates by Holly Bourne
- Vanishing Girls by Lauren Oliver
- We Were Liars by E. Lockhart
- Any book written by the great Rainbow Rowell.

Enjoy your break. :)

-The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis
-Lord of The Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien
-Books by Enid Blyton

I've been reccommended the first series a couple of times, but wasn't sure about it. I'll have to check it out soon apparently

Are those stand alone books or series?

I've read the first few of TMR and they're good, I just continuously get distracted by other books and never finish the series :dizzy:

My best friend is obsessed with the PLL tv show, and I'd like to read the series, it just seems so longg
I've read THG and the Divergent series already, but they were pretty good
I have to say, I was a bit disappointed in Allegiant  I honestly can't even remember if I finished it. I tried reading it, I just couldn't stay focused on it :heartbroken:

Anything by Tamora Pierce, or Diane Duane if you're into teen fantasy. I grew up reading both and still love them.

Hey Jess!!

I made a list of the books i've been recommended on here for me to search for at the library :nerd:

I'll add those authors :D

Are there any specific books by them I should check out?

For Tamora Pierce, I'd recommend starting with the Song of the Lioness series, which I think starts with a book called Alanna... It really introduces you to the world she created. From there you can get into all kinds of different stories set in the same universe :)

It's been a long time since I've read Diane Duane, but the So You Think You Want To Be A Wizard series was one of my favourites!

I adore some of the other recommendations in this thread too! Happy reading

I was going to suggest The 5th Wave, but I noticed you had it on your list already. I had started reading the book and I loved it so far, but somehow it got wet and got ruined :wailing:

I'm not sure if you like thriller books, but a book I really like is "Famous Last Words" By Katie Alender. It's a horror/thriller/mystery book. :)
