How would I be able to dress my Yo in anything but those original themes? I'm not talking about buying everything. I'm talking about buying the basics...decorating and clothing.

I think the economy is ok for those of us that have been in it for the long haul. For new players, REAL new players, the economy being ok...that's the fallacy.

I wouldn't either. I'd do what a lot of people back in 2009 did.. walk away because it took me a week to afford a badly designed dress.

Its got nothing to do with false assumption of people wanting to have everything, and everything to do with thinking of the long term viability of the game.

And BVG has stated numerous time they intend to introduce new ways of making coins in the game, so until we see what that entails, it's difficult to say how new players might do.

Well, until they actually do implement new ways of making coins, 600 coins, 3x/day...just won't cut it.

Someone with 300m coins, just as an example, never needs to open their wallet again to buy anything they want. They can go and decide to give yc dealers 100k+ to 1 on anything they want because, lets face it, 2m gone from that total means absolutely nothing.

People with massive amounts of coin, or the ability to get to massive amounts of coin, is not isolated. Any person with massive amount of coin has no reason to spend their real money on this game anymore or at all other than if they feel like donating to help support BVG as they don't need it to help their gameplay.

Apparently some people don't view this as the economy being broken or being a problem though.

I think there are fewer players with 300m than you think.

Meantime, read your PM. Cheers.

Not to mention the ability to sell items in AH for YC! Why would anyone like this ^ ^ have to open their wallet again for YC either? They could turn around and sell that YC and accumulate an even more stupid amount of coins. The cycle...does not end.

There is no cycle...and as long as folks are buying YC,which by the looks of the Supporter badges they are, Yo has a very bright future.

Then there are plenty of items in this game that if you didn't buy them in store, you'll never have. Even items from last year.

There is a factor some of you are missing. The number of new players MIGHT soon outnumber the amount of old players.

New players, normally don't have over 1m. So with that playing in, take a look at how it may affect the economy.

And you know what happens to those players?

They just never get any of the expensive items as those of us who have stupid amounts of coins just trade with each other and shuffle the wealth back and forth.

And they slowly but surely get disillusioned that a stupid unicorn costs more coins than they'll ever dream of having.

they really need to get the daily intake coins to a good range. holidays are coming halloween, thanksgiving, x-mas all back to back. you have to give the coinage in hopes new players will be tempted to buy yocash

IF (and thats a big IF) they stick around to play longer than being a 1 week old inactive account.

There is a precedent in this game for people once they realize the effort required and the very little reward you get for that effort of blocking the game and not coming back to it.

I've done it with other games. I used to play Castleville and The Ville. I quite enjoyed both. Then the game play turned to a disgraceful amount of quests I had to forever annoy neighbors for and it stopped being fun and felt more like a job, and I stopped playing. Same with Yoville you'll never get new players that stick around if you make the game feel more like a job to them. And currently with the way the games economy is, thats exactly what new players are facing.

he is right.. I could sit on my coins.. just play off my coins, never sell anything.. and with the last batch of yocash I bought, I could live off it forever and a day.. and if I sold my stuff.. hundreds of millions in coins ...

now, if by chance my yocash runs out and I want a few things.. i could easily pay whatever rate and get whatever items I want.. or trade something to get it.. without having to spend anymore real money on the game...

Well, if the average player no longer has over 1m in the future, there is a minority, that would. Would I sit around, waiting for one of them to buy my item, or would I want to sell it at a lower price, so that it can be sold quicker?

People may have to sell lower to make business, no matter if they like it, or of they don't. What if having over 5m coins, will no longer be as common as it is now?

but, what is not thought during this is.. why would they need to sell?? what is the point of a person with millions of coins selling anything they own??? to get what??

I have all I need.. all I want.. why would I need to sell something? there is nothing I want..so.. why sell anything, especially at a low price?? why would a yocash dealer drop the rate?? to do a favor?? most yodealers.. are wealthy.. and I mean wealthy .. if there is something in game worth anything, they have several of them.. so.. where do those player fit in?? what can bvg do to keep them buying and selling yocash to keep the game alive?
